Perriman and WR Hype

This will be the first time ever that flacco has a WR core that is lacking a securty blanket

He had Mason, Boldin, SSR..

3 guys there with great hands and route running and toughness. Flacco struggles when he has to make it easier for the WR who might not have those all of those 3 attributes.

He did have a few concentration drops. I remember a select few where he was wide open on intermediate crossing routes and they bounced right off his hands.

However I don't recall him dropping many of those tough contested balls. He got undertrown against Haden, was about an inch wide on the second foot against Norman, but for most of those he was able to bring them down, at least as far as I can remember.

I think concentration drops will continue to be an issue but I think he will make up for it in other ways

I recall quite a few intermediate routes where he had his hands on the ball but allowed it to be stripped. He needs to get a vice grip like boldin.

I wonder if Perriman has done any modeling.

Maybe for a Rogaine commercial or something

For better or worse, he has Pitta....

not true. he had no security blanket in 2013.

matter of fact, we are better in essentially every single category than in 2013 where we were a few key drives away from the playoffs.

WRs, OL, RBs, secondary, pass rush, run D, all unquestionably better.

the problem is, saying you have a better wr/ol group than 2013 is like saying youre the most attractive person in an empty room. doesnt mean much. so are they enough? and do the units come together and gel with the coordinating?

i think one can safely say that the 2013 WR ''team'' had to rank among the top 10 worst in NFL history...
couldnt give boldin 2 mill? couldnt take a couple of mill out of flacco's contract?

really ozzie?...really?

That was the "Tandon Doss doesn't suck anymore" offseason if I'm remembering correctly

Whow was that one member who completely freaked out that we signed Webb for depth, on the old board I believe, good times

I think Perriman's statline is the same as last season, but he'll only play 7 games before ending the season on IR
