Perriman and WR Hype

With Smith pitta Aiken and juice gone that's 222 of last year's receptions. That's over 50 percent of flaccos completions.

He needs to step up

With Maclin on the market. We should really find out if the Perriman hype is for real. Had some good seasons with Marty.

Even if it is real, do you want the number three to be one of Camp, Moore, or an UDFA? Or would you rather have Maclin?

Whow was that one member who completely freaked out that we signed Webb for depth, on the old board I believe, good times

Not sure if you were talking about me or not, but I was a member of the old forums. But I didn't post much. And I certainly was not against bringing Webb back, lol

I'd personally like it if they signed Maclin. But the is usually all stick, no carrot for free agent WRs. At the end of the day, however Maclin has his concerns (injuries) and they might be bullish about what other WRs could hit the market later.

Well if you weren't against what makes you think I'd be talking about you lol. What was your name on there? If you care to share.

Because you commented right under a post I was quoted in, where I was commenting on people on FB going crazy.

My name was the same name that I have now

First, let's hope we aren't throwing as much as we did last year and are more relying on the run. 2nd I see some of those dump offs and short passes that would be going to Pitta will be spread around to Maxx, Gilmore, Boyle and let's not forget Woodhead. That in conjunction with Perriman stepping up and we shall be fine,

I've been seeing a lot of Maclin potentially going to the Bills

we're losing our appeal.

we're an average to below average team since the playoffs
we have no young superstars to speak of in SKILL positions.
we have 0 cap space
we have a pathetic O line.
A pathetic O line and a QB who gets rattled like Joe = interception city

I would not mind if it if everything he was saying was not factually wrong and he is just ignoring what actually happened and attributing it to what he wants it to be.

To be fair to Sami, some are just his opinions, albeit extremely negative opinions most of the time. And what he (she?) above isn't that far off, if at all sadly.

I can pick that post apart with the silliness in it.

First off "average" since the playoffs is 2 seasons and requires you ignore 2 years ago when the entire team was on IR and tgis year when they were 1 yard off being division champs.

Then there is this "pathetic" oline which has a budding superstar in Stanley a current superstar and future hall of famer in Yanda, Lewis who started to look good before his injury slowed his progression, and an upgradr at center. So the RT is worse than last year and that makes the oline pathetic.

Not to mention most of the teams with "elite" OLs have tolerated the RT as a weak spot. The Raiders trotted out an unspectacular slew of RTs in Menelik Watson, Austin Howard and Vadal Alexander. Even the Cowboys got by with Doug Free at RT and Doug Free wasn't good after like 2012.

Not saying the Ravens have the talent of either of those teams, but a subpar RT can be dealt with if a team has an otherwise good line.
