Hall of Famer
In what essentially is the main event of Divisional Round Weekend, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens head on to Buffalo to take on Josh Allen...and that's it. First, some preliminary games.....
Texans @ Chiefs: Houston's defense came to play against the Chargers and will have a tough task against Mahomes and company. Houston has given great QBs their lowest passer rating all year, like the infamous 9/30 game by... Josh Allen. Of course, Mahomes isn't on that list but perhaps some momentum and KC being rested for 3 weeks will allow Houston to catch KC off guard and pull off the upset.
Commanders @ Lions: The Commanders should have got rid of Dan Snyder sooner. This season has been a complete turnaround under new ownership, Dan Quinn and rookie sensation Jayden Daniels. They stunned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week with a game winning Field Goal and look to do the same to Detroit. Both teams seem to be healthy heading into this one except the Lions have already ruled out Kevin Zeitler with a hamstring injury. Can they Commanders continue their magical run or will the Lions relish in their first time role as the 1 seed?
Rams @ Eagles: Unfortunately for the Rams, they aren't playing Sam Darnold again this week. They are however playing Saquon Barkley and the Eagles in Philadelphia, good luck. Even if the Rams find a way to contain Saquon, them hurting in the secondary may allow AJ Brown to have a big game. Can Philly get back to the NFC Championship Game or will the Rams once again be on the doorstep of the Super Bowl?
Ravens @ Bills: The Main event of Divisional Round Weekend. Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and Josh Allen. Jokes aside, both teams are completely different from when these two met in week four which saw Baltimore run all over Buffalo. Baltimore's defense has changed, Amari Cooper gives Allen another weapon in the passing game... everyone pray for Brandon Stephens. Both teams will look to the run game in a very cold environment to tire out the opposing defense. Both Derrick Henry & James Cook rushed for over 1,500 yards on the season, will Cook get going against Baltimore's top ranked rushing defense or will Henry repeat his week 4 performance on Sunday Night? If Houston stuns KC, this game becomes even more important as the winner will host the AFC Championship Game.
