2025 OL Thread

Jonah Savaiinaea or however tf you spell it looks like a monster. He’s not perfect on film but goddamn he’s a specimen who’s gonna be powerful no matter what lever he’s playing at. He’s the kinda guy I think I’d wanna add at LG, if faalele is actually good and progressing and we have a pair of absolute mammoths at guard, it’d be a huge boost. Our LG spot was just so poor last year.

ive gone back to savaiineaea so many times wanting to be blown away - especially after the way he measured and tested at the combine - but im just not

ive got a 3rd round grade and i think that's as high as i can go

a guy that big and powerful shouldn't struggle to drop his anchor the way he does
he also doesnt bend and torque well either

i dont think he's someone i'd trust to be in a starter competition right away

Any of y’all watched Grey Zabel’s film yet? Every draft expert expects him to move inside and play guard at the next level. With Ronnie Stanley possibly leaving, any chance he’s a realistic option at Tackle?

i like him somewhere on the OL but idk that he ends up being a tackle - 32" arms is really short and they show up when he tries to sustain blocks and he's got a short corner protecting off the edge

i like him much more inside, probably at C, but guard is probably fine too

Technique is super clunky as a Tackle. Guys that were at the Senior Bowl said he looked much more confortable at Guard so I'll take their word for it but the games at Arizona as a Tackle aren't super exciting

Josh Simmons without the ACL is the clear OT1 by a mile for me.

Also "my guy" on Day 2 and possibly for the ravens is Anthony Belton. At Tackle or Guard, whatever you like, he's extremely fun to watch. There are some inconsistencies but overall he's underrated as hell imo.

ive got 3 OL at the the top of the class, but i think will campbell's a guard in the NFL
i've got membou over simmons but they'll basically be stacked right on top of each other - if simmons plays the same way he did early in the year in the cfb playoffs then he's probably thought of as a blue-chip prospect and a legit top 3 prospect in the class

even with the ACL i think he's a borderline top 10 guy in the class still

what a coincidence that i'd literally just been watching belton just before this post - i like him too - probably moreso at guard but i really love the feet and the power, and i think with some technique adjustments there's even more knockback power in his hands available

reminds me of aaron banks a little bit when he was coming out

membou’s tape is so damn good. He’s clear OT1 for me

Give me Jonah savaiinaea in round 2. Barring a drastic fall of a fringe first rounder, I think he’s my favorite for our R2 pick

He hasn't really been mentioned here but Dylan Fairchild, G from Georgia, has a ton of upside. Very little experience, only 24 games as a starter, but he showed an incredible amount of progress during that time. He's also a high caliber collegiate wrestler so he fully understands the ideas of leverage and controlling momentum. Can possibly get him in the third, and he'll put perform many lineman that went ahead of him.

not for me - i've got him a full round later at best

struggles dealing with power, doesn't bend or recover well - and doesnt show much power or drive in his own run blocking

he's got tools to develop but im not spending a 2nd rounder on him
