Ravens should be looking to replace LG. And depending on Ronnie Stanley's contract status this offseason, might be looking at a new LT (or RT if RR swaps sides).

Either way, this is a position that we may be looking to expend some serious capital in this draft.

Some of the names that I've come across:
Will Campbell
Kelvin Banks Jr
Cameron Williams
Josh Simmons
Tyler Booker

but seems like there's a bunch more guys to watch in this class - I've got 21 guys on my watchlist already.

Any day 2 guards sticking out?

idk about day 2 and i'm not even sure about guard anymore lol...
but Donovan Jackson made himself a bunch of money in the playoffs by stepping in for Josh Simmons at LT and he was phenomenal

if he was there at 27 and he was the pick it wouldnt shock me

in general, this class is full of OT prospects who might be better fits at guard in the pros - will be interesting to see but there's a lot of candidates to move inside

Marcus Mbow is gonna be a good pro.

Currently only 20.

Great outside zone skillset.

his lack of mass and his only average arm length really show up on the tape
he has some nice qualities with his punch and with some of his run game fits - looks good as a puller and kicking out too

but seen him give up a short corner too many times and then have someone go straight through his anchor

he will hopefully get heavier in an nfl weight room but idk that he's a great fit for the ravens - the play strength just isnt there right now

especially as a RT only prospect

Marcus Mbow looks really good. He’s extremely consistent landing blocks on the pull, landing on second level, staying engaged, and he appears to have a pass pro anchor for the next level

i dont see the anchor with him
looks light in his lower half and some shorter arms compound when faced with power guys who get into his chest

Watching the senior bowl 1v1 reps..

Would love if we got Josh Conley Jr or Grey Zabel with the 27th pick

Is Cameron Williams a G or T? I’m leaning towards G for him, and I think his ceiling is very high as a G.

Donovan Jackson, Cameron Williams, Tyler booker, who would be the best ravens pick if hypothetically they’re all there and one of those three has to be the pick, who y’all taking? I think Cameron Williams would be my pick.

booker and jackson i have way ahead of williams - williams has tons of tools but he loses badly

and on top of that he's a RT you'd have to convert to LG, whereas the other 2 guys are LGs already

At the end of round one it has to be Booker imo. Maybe Jackson but I wouldn’t love the value there.

If Jackson was there in the 2nd that would be a run the card up moment for me.

My kinda guy.....

Any of y’all watched Grey Zabel’s film yet? Every draft expert expects him to move inside and play guard at the next level. With Ronnie Stanley possibly leaving, any chance he’s a realistic option at Tackle?

Jonah Savaiinaea or however tf you spell it looks like a monster. He’s not perfect on film but goddamn he’s a specimen who’s gonna be powerful no matter what lever he’s playing at. He’s the kinda guy I think I’d wanna add at LG, if faalele is actually good and progressing and we have a pair of absolute mammoths at guard, it’d be a huge boost. Our LG spot was just so poor last year.
