2025 DB Thread

Doing some last minute work on a few extra prospects and one has jumped out at me that I'd never even heard of and I know I'm going to be wildly higher on than the consensus boards right now...

Kitan Crawford - idk if this guy's a nickel or a safety or just a movable chess piece on the backend but he's great

seen some people wonder why he couldnt succeed or consistently get on the field at texas and i point to the fact that texas has 2 safeties that are also going to be drafted in this class including a 1st rounder and another guy who should go on day 2 as well as a guy who's going to be drafted next year

With you on Crawford. I don't know the exact nature of his placement. The transfer from a bigger program and the 5th year spike could be an explanation. But he also switched from playing mostly FS to playing mostly in the box and in the slot, where he looked at home. His tape was impressive. The on-the-ball production was there. He has a dense build, and his testing numbers were elite (especially the vertical, broad jump and agility drills). I could see him going early on Day 3 and being used in the mold of a Brian Branch. Happy to see someone else be on board with him.
