2025 DB Thread

The natural talent is apparent. I do wish he'd keep himself in the play a little more often. Far too many instances on the tape where he takes awful angles in coverage and against the run. But you can see him read it so there's clearly something to work with there.

also doesnt meet the athletic profile of a typical ravens 1st round pick

Haven’t hit him yet but the numbers today are certainly intriguing. He’ll be up soon for me.

i really love emmanwori - if we didnt have kyle hamilton already, emmanwori would be the biggest "wishful thinking" pick i would hope we make

Malaki starks easy

With all the hype Nick Emanwari’s combine created.. I have a feeling Starks is the talent that will fall to us. EDC won’t be able to resist and does another 1st round investment in the secondary. I wouldn’t be mad. I think Malaki pairs better with KHam

i would be so hyped if emmanwori somehow fell to us

I know there's no chance of it but man I would love somehow getting Benjamin Morrison in the 2nd round.

I’m kinda warming up more to the idea of Starks than Emmanwori. Still love Nick but his run defense scares me

Wait, you’re scared of emmanwori’s run defense but not Starks? Because starks run D scares the shit outta me

You don’t think Starks is the better all-around safety?

The more I watch of Trey Amos, the more I really like him.

Think he would fit the secondary really well, would never complain about more depth at CB. I think he goes anywhere between like 30-40, so perhaps a bit awkward. I love the player and think he is a top 30 player in the draft.

Make no mistake though, if Starks is on the board, the Ravens are taking Starks. I feel very confident about that.

If Starks make it to the 20’s, I know Howie making calls to try and jump us for Starks. Howie and UGA players is like EDC and PSU lol

Yeh I can see that. Initially I thought Starks might not make it past Miami when they lost Holland but they have so many needs they wont be taking a safety at 13. Just know Philly are going to try something.

What do you make of Thomas at FSU ?

big fan - wish he ran just fractionally faster because 4.58 is really slow for a CB and it is a stopwatch position

but the arm length and the length in general is insane for a press CB - he can be suffocating in man coverage

even without the top end speed, he's still a top 50 player for me - still has quick feet, good reaction quickness and good mirror skills

wouldn't shock me if someone took him at the back end of the 1st round

if he was somehow available at 59, he'd be a slam dunk pick

Nice, I need to take a look.

Assume the Bills are taking a CB so Revel and Amos in play for them there I guess.

that might be too high for revel coming off an injury

defensive tackle very much in play for them at 30, especially if kenneth grant is still hanging around
