Coaching Carousel 2025

i mean tbf that defence was comically awful
and this was a pretty unsurprising firing as well

probably gets fired even if they make the playoffs
Defense definitely was bad but they were trotting out shit in the secondary all season. Just think he’s taking the heat when he had bad players to work with.

its certainly not just 1 thing or the other for sure

feels a bit like Wink though when he left here - felt like it was time

Giants sticking with GM Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll.

seems like Antonio Pierce might be safe too

right now we've got 5 jobs available and im not sure what other jobs could come open... maybe the cowboys, maybe the colts (feels more likely they make a change at GM)... the cowboys is interesting because they dont need to fire McCarthy and McCarthy can also just choose to leave and try and get a job elsewhere if he wants as he's out of contract

might be a fallow year in terms of HC jobs though...

Lou Anarumo was fired after 6 seasons in Cincinnati. He may have had a really bad year with the Bengals, but for the most part he has been a very good DC.

Yeah doesn’t seem like there are many dominos left to fall unless one of these playoff teams chooses to go with a fresh perspective if they don’t make it far.

Ben Johnson will interview for the Bears and Patriots this week
He might end up staying in Detroit honestly. He wants stable ownership and front office, neither of those teams provide that. Jets are a mess and waiting another year might see a good opening somewhere.

he is quite intrigued with the Bears job and I think that is where he lands.

Could Mike poach one of our assistant coaches to be his new OC in Seattle? Tee Martin, Greg Lewis or RB coach Willie Taggart?

only team i can think is the eagles firing sirianni if they crash and burn in the wildcard round

Although not official, I do respect Vegas for leaning to keep Antonio Pierce. It wasn't a great season for him and the inexperience showed, but I appreciate how he leads and has surrounded himself with people that he thinks can help get him where he needs to be.

the way he's gone about things is in stark contrast to the way jerod mayo went about business in new england and is probably illustrative of why he looks like he'll keep his job while mayo is 1 and done
