Week 18 Browns @ Ravens

Ravens kicking off week 18 against the Browns on Saturday.

Schedule puts them at a slight disadvantage and potentially helps their wildcard round opponent.

A chance to win the division against a team they should beat.

But it’s a divisional matchup and we’ve seen twice this year already how tough those are...

Another side effect of the day change of this game is that I will now be in the air flying when this game happens and won't be able to watch (pretty sure it kicks off just after we I take off lol) ... This season has been a calamity in terms of games I've been able to watch live on TV lol...

Really sucks that you haven't been able to see the majority of the games this season. I guess it's better than rooting for the Panthers.

Why do you think it gives our wildcard opponent an advantage. If anything I think we could have an advantage and here is my thought.

If we play next Sunday we have an extra day of rest. If we play on Saturday, in the first round, then the Chargers would have one less day, since they play this coming Sunday.

But if we win then our opponent likely rests their starters… either Steelers play to win and then the chargers rest their starters and leave us with a rested chargers team or the Steelers rest their starters and the chargers play to win and leave us with a rested Steelers team.

Or worst case, we lose and face a rested Texans team.

We may get an extra day of rest but our opponent likely gets an extra week.

It's not like our boys will have a tough game and get really tired tomorrow

I didn't think of it that way, but it's not like backups have practiced this week at all.
