The "We Finally Beat The Steelers," the King Henry, the fumbles, and the Pick 6

I'm trying to decide if I want to watch live football today or just re-watch this game lol

Iunno about y’all, but watching other games is boring to me. Lamar-induced dopamine is too potent. I can’t feel the high nowhere else :crying:

Zay, you are a Raven
Bateman, you are a Raven
Kyle, you are a Raven
Henry, you are a Raven
and lastly......
LAMAR, YOU ARE A RAVEN.

These boys showed me something yesterday. Defense while allowing some easy shit down the middle created some turnovers and even scored on one. Henry got going early and while they struggled a bit the O-line was much improved from their last showing. There was something going on with that throw to Bateman that lead to an INT but cry me a river. Perfection is impossible and that was his 4th INT of the year. I saw what I needed to see. The team did not unravel after some adversity and we played a full 4 quarters. Lamar settled down after that and made that THROW to Zay
We had many chances to melt down like we always seem to do. Sack fumble and a blown pass protection to start the game, unanswered scores, giving up points before the half and Steelers getting the ball back, the red zone int, fumbled punt returns, we just kept punching back.

That was the biggest thing that encouraged me the most, we just bucked all of our worst trends in the biggest game of the year against our #1 rival.

But another terrible trend of ours that we bucked, we strung together good series in both phases. We weren’t struggling on offense and playing well on defense and vice versa, we scored, and then came back and the defense did their job, and did it again and again. We haven’t seen that against quality opponents in years, yeah there was the lions and SF game last year, but other than that we really have not seen that kind of team consistency in a long time.

To the dismay of all of you, I’m fucking BACK!

I still have incredibly slim hopes of this season going anywhere but goddamn what a hump to get over. LONG overdue
Not to me my brother! Hell, I never knew you were gone.:D:cool:

Man, ardarius Washington lit russ the fuck up on that fumble. That little man brought a full speed nfl qb to a complete stop. Russ went out sad on that one.
Dude is a dog. Plays aggressive and feisty at all times. I think Marcus Williams going out helped obviously, but also getting someone with that fuck you mentality has probably helped just as much.

Man I swear, when I was watching his college film years back, I thought I was watching a stud. He might be undersized, and he might not be a pro bowl caliber safety, but he’s got something for sure. Seems to be a high iq safety, definitely instinctive, and plays with intensity on every snap.

He’s changed the outlook of our season. Big deal for a UDFA signing.

Apparently that INT is on Bate
Very much looked like it was. Don't think it was the best throw decision either way, but not sure why Bateman decided to stop and sit down in that zone. It didn't make him any more open than continuing that route should have.

Bate actually tried to break to the other side. Problem was - Lamar had to throw it, otherwise he would have been hit by a blitzer (think it was Queen). Split second decision basically.

Just had a Bengals fan tell me that Lamar was outplayed by Mahomes, Josh Allen and Russ twice when we played all of their respective teams this season. Are they all this stupid and cocky? @OURavensFan
