You are a 2 time mvp and a legitimate MV3 candidate, how do you make that mistake? Missing zay for six, throwing to a covered receiver, and not only missing where he sat down in the soft spot but missing the spot he would’ve been even if he kept running, and in the red zone, it’s seriously inexcusable and if we were playing a competent offense then this game is a loss right then and there.

I mean the thing about it is if you see someone open then you throw it to them. Basically if your first read is open then there is no QB who goes "well the primary option is open but let me take time to check the other options then come back to you and hope you are still open".

Yes. Bateman is at fault. So is Lamar. The sack was a totally fine option. But Lamar fundamentally can't think that way. And that sometimes brings the spectacular. And sometimes the despair.
