Next Up: @ Bengals

Chase Daniel brought up Lamars 4th q stats when down vs Burrows. Being a Ravens fan it feels like we always lose those but said the numbers were better. I can't find the short version and I'm not fact checking. Don't care. Just want a win and to leave healthy.

You have to see that stats that Chris Broussard brought up when comparing these two guys. It was eye opening to me
I feel like I’ve been gaslit for years but people are starting to come around on the fact that Lamar is #2 and certainly better than Burrow (and I think Mahomes but he has to win a ring). I can’t remember Falcon fans being like this with Matt Ryan after he won MVP and participated in a Super Bowl. Jaylen Hurts played way better than Burrow did in the Super Bowl and playoffs and he doesn’t get hyped up the same way. It’s just wild.

Feeling extremely confident that the first offensive play will be a fake to Henry where Lamar keeps it and gashes them

Todd Monken said some really interesting stuff in his presser a few days ago. He plainly said that the first couple weeks of practice were not very good and they did not like what they saw. He said he and the players talked about it, acknowledged it, and they said we're gonna try some new stuff to improve it.

Out of that came some big improvements where they said the last couple of weeks of practice have looked the way they want them to.

I just find that interesting and would love to know what was going wrong/the problem.

I do not get the activating Ngakoue for the game. We had 6 OLBs active last week and I don't think anyone stunk up the place. Seems sad to deactivate Isaac who needs some snaps to develop, and Robinson fills the early down needs in a way that Ngakoue cannot.
I see him as an Ojabo insurance, but I see no reason to bench him since he has been playing well

Ah well, we'll see if he surprises me...
