Lamar wasn't throwing to Flowers. He was throwing to Bateman. I want to see it again because Bate didn't do what Lamar thought he would

My own personal observations is Lamar Jackson missed throws over the top. The Ravens had their chances but Lamar missed. 8:53 of the 3rd quarter, Lamar went long and he clearly missed. Imo, LJ struggled with his accuracy last night.

Exactly. I’m talking about the narrative, but it’s more that I wanna see Lamar prove it wrong so I know it’s not true. He does this every time he plays the chiefs. I want him to debunk the narrative because that means our qb is capable of a championship.
On the Flowers miss, you expect your MVP QB to make that throw. Until he proves he can do it consistently (like Mahomes), there are going to be doubters.

All in all not a bad 1st game. Need some clean up in our secondary. The O line started slow but showed some balls later in the game. Reason for some optimism there.

On to the silver & black.

We wouldn’t be in that position to win the game without Lamar’s running. It’s hard to reset from running the ball to passing the ball especially under pressure all game. We’ve seen Lamar be a lot more accurate and in rhythm last season when he wasn’t asked to run so much. It was what the game called for. Anyone saying Lamar is a choker and lost the game imo are only looking at the last sequence. The Likely overthrow was bad, the Flowers pass would’ve been tough, and he ended up throwing the game tying touchdown, just unfortunate Likely was an inch out of bounds.
