2018 Secondary

Ah, good to hear. I'm familiar with him as a player but not as a person/analyst. Perhaps it was just that gaff then. Though it doesn't help that he called us being at full strength defensively against New England and Pittsburgh. Exactly lol I did the very same myself. Happens to me a lot when I hear something that's very much off.
He frequently makes eyebrow raising comments, but he likes the Ravens, so I overlook it.

"According to Harbaugh, it's a procedure that takes six weeks to recover from. Jefferson is still a week or two away from that mark, but has been telling his coach that he is ready to go."

It's official: Given that it's coming from Harbaugh's mouth, Jefferson is probably dead somewhere.
Same place where Flacco is, probably in Harbaugh's basement along with his Campanaro and Gillmore voodoo dolls.

I didn't like him at all. Good qb but imo not a good announcer. Other people must have thought the same, since he has been demoted.
He sees things other commentators miss and was enthusiastic without coming off as a fan or artificially promoting onto a pedestal one of the games stars.

He never came off as an advertisement for Levean Bell, for example, or for any other player, going on and on about how great they are.
He watched and offered top notch analysis and insider insight.
He and Nantz, (sic?), I always felt, were the best tandem going.

I liked Nantz, but not Simms. Not saying he was totally awful, because he did have some nice analysis, but a lot of his analysis was just stated my the obvious.

Now Jefferson? What the actual fuck. Why does this happen to us every year? Seriously I'm so fucking sick of it! Let us watch our football team with the goddamn players we pay to be the best!

If Humphrey continues to perform in training camp like he has the past couple of days and throughout OTAs and continues to improve he will no doubt beat out Brandon Carr for the starting job.

I havent really seen but he been balling?
Yep. Multiple ints against starting WRs, reports say he's been in his mans pocket consistently and from what I've seen he's been rerouting guys at the line with ease. And this is all before the pads come on which is where his strength lies with contact and hitting

Totally stoked and he will only improve.

Maybe he might actually be starting week 1.
If he clearly wins the job than I can't see why they would hold him back. However if it's close Carr will start as to not rush him along.

That being said, he will see the field a bunch regardless if he starts or not.

I know it's just training camp, but Humphrey balling right now is a great sign. He really is tailor made for the defense and having him possibly take on other players would be a great thing for us going forward.
