2018 Secondary

Don't look now but ronnie stanley is the number 1 run blocking tackle in the NFL.
As he gains more power as he gets older he's going to be a great great player.
But he gave up two sacks vs vikes! I like stanley but being best run blocker means nothing when you give up two sacks in one game! i want him to be the best run blocker and best pass blocker.

I didn't get behind JuJu because of the perceived lack of speed and the ability to separate.

No speed issues on that 97 yard touchdown.
Many were on the juju bandwagon in 2015-2016 season, but as the2016-17 season was progresssing many jumped on. I was good with him in the 2nd or 3rd round. It would be interesting to see how he would be doing without AB or Lev Bell.

Lattimore was the most talented, and most injured corner in years. Humphrey was one of the more raw high end corners but is the only db who legitimately has a Jalen Ramsey ceiling.

Lattimore was equally raw, but had a skill set that masked his rawness, you can be raw and inexperienced but if you have length and you mirror every single step the wr makes then you won't get tested or exposed. Humphrey has the higher ceiling and no injury history(knock on every piece of wood ever) being the better overall athlete, a skillset that could make him an elite CB or safety, and he and Jalen Ramsey have a mentality that is rare for dbs and the kind of mentality you want. Lattimore was the less diverse and riskier player.
lattimore is playing very well right now. He is the best rookie cb as of now and ita not close. I thought sydney jones better but even though he is injury, i was probably wrong.... its only their rookie season and lattimore is on a terrible defense, yet still making plays

I never said Humphrey was the best rookie db. But he's certainly #2

He gave up 2 sacks vs unquestioned elite edge rushers and has been a stonewall the rest of the season aside from giving up some pressures earlier when he was still playing hobbled.

Saying his drafting has sucked when he's gotten us 7 or 8 starters just in last year's draft, that's very funny.
Maybe because Lattimore had Campanaro-esque harmstrings and Hooker was a one year wonder who had two surgeries in the offseason?
Maybe because he knows our system and our defense better than you?
Maybe because he knows, unlike you, what his coaches can and cannot fix in a player?
Or maybe because he also interviewed the players and has probably twice to thrice the data you have on them?

Dude, starters don't mean jack if he is starting by default. You can reason and justify his crappy drafting all you want. But at the end of the day all you are doing is making excuses for all his busts. What are any of the rookies really doing. Humph is ok in limited role. But he has leaps and bounds b4 he is a shutdown cornerback. The 2015 draft is totally botched!! This draft is making very little impact. Only Mosley to show for 2014. 2016 netted some good players. But no real difference makers to put the team over. I like the potential of some of the players. and again you aren't helping him talking about all this data and interviews he has access to. Yet makes terrible draft decisions. And although 2016 found Stanley and some useful players. Ozzie and his lil protege Decosta once again dropped the ball in rounds 2 and 3. All that talent on the board and ravens come back with Correa and the bronk in their hands.

One sack wasn't even his fault. Also, Griffen is a monster and had another sack against the Browns so he's on pace for 20 sacks this season. I guess every LT that faces Griffen is shit at pass blocking....

Dude seriously?? Nobodyis saying Stanley is Garbage. Nobodyis saying to be the feared stud you want him to. He has to shut out the pro bowl edge rushers to

I wanted him in round 3. I may have even been okay with a trade back in 2. But the fringe first rounder? No.

So basically your argument is "yeah but they're busts, so Ozzie should be ashamed". Nice. Always great talking with someone who reasons like that. By the way, you were ready to trade the farm for Rashard Robinson, who has been traded for a 5th round pick to the Jets. So yes, couch GMs stay couch GMs.

okay I'm going to state this

I think Ju Ju isnt that great but a product of pittsburghs O. If he were on a less good team and was the center of attention he'd flop.

I don't think hes great and he's overrated now because he's actually in an easy situation.

I will say that tyus bowser was a head scratcher as there were far more polished prospects like Z.Cunningham.

Bowser like i said in a thread here adter the draft, doesnt have great football IQ and is merely a project based on physical gifts.

Every LT isnt suppose to give up a sack bro. Dont matter how good the pass rusher is, youre suppose to be better. Same goes for a pass rusher facing a good LT
