That trade up for Julio killed the Falcons for YEARS after they did it

Bosa was my top choice, Ramsey was my 2nd choice. I was also down with either Tunsil or Stanley ams figured Stanley would be the better run blocker at least from the get go due to Stanley playing in a pro style offense. I wasn’t surprised at all that he played really well last year.

I had Rosa over Ramsey as well and if it came down to either of them I think there's a chance we would have taken Bosa. I think we had them both kneck-and-kneck and highly valued both, I think when San Diego stunned the draft by taking Bosa, it made us scramble for Ramsey. I think it worked out well for us in the long run though.

The falcons were in a different space at the time than we are now. They were competing in the playoffs and trying to get to the next level. They happened to fall off the boat doe a while as well as many of those picks could have been used on the defense which wasn’t that good. They got a superstar but it may have not been the right move short term. (1-4 yrs)

I think in our mind, when the Rams moved up to No.1 we probably thought that Bosa or Ramsey had to fall to us. I think in our mind, San Diego had to take a tackle, especially with that horrendous OL and they didn't. Like it said, it worked out well for us but man, we would torture teams if we had Bosa here.

Sounds like a nightmare to me - only player I’m giving up future 1st round picks for is a franchise qb - otherwise it puts us in an awful spot for the future

Yeah people forget how damn long they had turnstiles on both lines and literally nothing on defense. Once the rookie deals were up for matt Ryan and they started losing blockers and runners, they were trash. It took them 4 years to recover from it and they still don't have a ring to show for it

To be fair they came as close as you can without actually winning

What’s more important however is that we didn’t mortgage our picks and not only got to a Super Bowl first but we won one without Matt Ryan or Julio

I was on and off the Ramsey bandwagon. Lol, there was once a time that I wanted Hargraves more, I can't believe that, I feel like an idiot. Well, I saw the light in the tunnel and thought Ramsey was the guy for us, I wanted him badly here as well on draft day and I thought that him or Bosa would be there.

It ended well for us, but Ramsey or Bosa would put our defense up there with some of the greatest we ever had if we don't lose Brandon Williams for that 4 game stretch also.
 
Lattimore has higher football IQ than ramsey. Ramsey is killing because of his athletic ability and decent football IQ and a strong D all around him. Lattimore is just a super high IQ athletic guy.

All the poor drafting killed the falcons for several yrs. Falcons wasted far more draft picks than it gave up for a game changing WR. Who did the picks turn into that were traded away?? When falcons new gm straightened out its drafting the falcons won. And Julio was a key player in their turnaround

Should have a ring!! lol And to be fair falcons are in far better position than the ravens are now

I wouldve been good with us even choosin hooker if got the chance. Hargraves is from my city. Seen him play in highschool and everything.. hump is fine, he just isnt an immediate starter and has a few things to fix before i put any faith in him. We gonna need a FS soon also.
