Bring it on. I’ve seen enough tannehill to feel he’d be a great backup on a good team. He can come in and not fuck up and steal a few firsts on scrambles and make enough plays off the play action.

The cool thing about preseason is I don’t get upset when the offense stalls, because it doesn’t matter and I get to see the defensive rookies.

It still grinds my gear how patriots double dipped at QB and took Joe Milton in the same round we chose a QB. You know Tennessee alum Tee Martin was licking his chops for him.

First half thoughts...

Offense as a whole looks out of sync. Understand wanting to improve the backup QB spot but them receivers ain't helping at all. Think the OL has been generally solid. A few misses but Faalele and Vorhees have both looked good in the run game. My weird guy that has looked good so far is TE Mike Rigerman... he's been really solid in the blocking game.

Defense, specifically the secondary, looks pretty damn good. Wiggins is the obvious standout. Simpson looks really good in the middle as well. Big issue is that it looks like a defense that is light on pass rushers. Seems Harrison was only going to get limited run so we've only got Robinson and Evans out there. We've been using DL on the edge just because we're so light on bodies there.

Agreed. I'll say that if backup QB is our biggest concern in a preseason game, we're doing something right.
