Electromagnetic pulse and coronal mass ejection.

One is basically a nuke set off in the ionosphere sending the ions plummeting to earth and frying all electrical everything.

The other is a solar storm that blasts massive amounts of ions into our atmosphere and has the same effect.

Indeed. I think in today's world, any big news that could affect the lives of many, many, MANY people is gonna come out one way or another regardless if people thinks it's legit or if it's a conspiracy theory.

this has all stemmed from an executive order issued by Obama in October 2016. So I'm beginning to think this is a fearmongering ploy and the trump administration is more than likely only aware of this because the internet has been blowing it up lately

the problem is having credible media otherwise legit info will be treated as conspiracy and not taken seriously - even if you dont believe the media are fair to trump i think youd be hard pressed to call them liars and that they dont have factual basis for their accusations - call them biased or whatever but they back themselves with facts which is why its dangerous that trump brands them fake news and uses his cult of personality to disparage facts especially when alternative sides of the media like breitbart have shown repeatedly that they are a platform for legitimate lies at times and fox have been seen to be aggressively selective in the narratives they put forward

When it comes to news, I will not watch it on TV. I'd rather look it up myself. I've never cared for Fox........or CNN, MSNBC, etc. I'll say this about Trump: he's one entertaining dude on Twitter. Speaking of entertainment, I can't wait for the presidential debates in a few years lol.
 
Digging deeper, looking more and more like a nothing Burger. Although the history of tragic events happening on days of scheduled DoD drills is concerning...

But really, what it appears to be, is a list of organizations and volunteers who have to participate in a simulation of a non-communicative state. They can't use their cell phone, internet, etc.

Meanwhile HAM radio users are gonna be collecting data to learn more about their capabilities in the event of a blackout.

Let's hope the trend of tragedy and drills doesn't continue. And let's hope the collective screech of antifa on November is squelched promptly with logic and force!

I've let up on Cruz quite a bit. Seems like he's at least trying to get on board
