I think the Bengals are more likely to grab a pass rusher or CB. If I had to put money on it I'd say they grab Green or Harmon.I swear if the Bengals take Starks

Are we looking at another 4th round pick? Or will it be towards the end of the draft?Unless some other teams beat us to it, we’re likely going to be drafting a K. My guy heard Fitzgerald was the preference, and then Borregalas. He’s wondering if it’s some screen and it’s actually another guy though.
No idea. My gut says it would be closer to the 5th/6th range but that’s a pure guess on my part. Are we looking at another 4th round pick? Or will it be towards the end of the draft?
A few little draft nuggets from my guy…
They love Derrick Harmon. Doesn’t necessarily mean they’re taking him if he’s there because the board can fall any which way, but he’d absolutely be under consideration.
They do not love this iOL class. Sounds like there are a few guys they think they could get in rounds 1-3 that they think can make an impact, but anything beyond that would be acquiring depth. They do have some developmental Ts they like though.

The most unsurprising... they're going to be drafting a S and a CB. They really want to be able to play more single high looks and it's hard with the current duo.
And finally, they genuinely would prefer to not make all 11 selections. They're expected to be looking for trade partners in the mid rounds, or they'll be looking to trade into next year if possible. They have a handful of vets they'd like to bring in over the next few months and they genuinely don't believe there will be room for 11 rookies to crack the roster.

I was told they like the length and size on Harmon. Nolan has the same height essentially but comes in over 15 pounds lighter.would make sense for them to try and get future picks (not the only team looking to do that according to DJ who mentioned it a couple of weeks ago i think)
looking at the guys they've been speaking to, they've been doing a ton of work on the mid-round safeties as well as the late day 3/udfa types
not all of them are single-high types but definitely some interesting guys in there - jaylen reed's the guy they've brought in who must offers that single high skillset
they've also done a bunch of work on some traitsy OT prospects - they've done a bunch of the long small school OT guys: Charles Grant, Carson Vinson, Caleb Etienne, Esa Pole, Jordan Williams, Devonte Gordon
as well as some guys who might be looking to transition inside (or outside) to guard: Anthony Belton, Marcus Mbow, Emery Jones, Josh Simmons (would have to transition for the ravens but would be a tackle for everyone else)
but i certainly agree that there's not many guys who look like starters in the day 3 part of this draft class at OL
interesting that harmon's the guy that came up on the interior but listening to DJ's conference call, it sounds like he has more of a chance of getting to 27 than Nolen
There’s some other guys at other positions who will probably be there at 27 who I like more than DH, but my god, him and Mad would be fun to watchI was told they like the length and size on Harmon. Nolan has the same height essentially but comes in over 15 pounds lighter.
Again, may not mean much because they've liked other guys a ton that they haven't taken, but felt like it was a notable nugget.

I’m higher on Booker than most - I think most know that by now lol. Either Starks or Emmanwori will be there I think. I can’t pass on Zabel or Ezeiruaku, either. Definitely wouldn’t want EDC’s job Thursday night lolwho are you thinking is gonna be there that you like more?
i've only got 10 players i'd take over Harmon and i'd bet at least 6 of them are going in the top 10
Don’t get me wrong, though… would love to have Harmon. Either way, we’ll be leaving the first round with a stud
my most buyer beware players in the draft for top rated guys nationally:
Tyler Warren - not a great blocker, wins at the catch-point, had the offence built around and fed through, doesn't consistently out-athlete people - the way he plays is so easily to fall in love with but him not doing athletic testing adds significant questions to his profile - if he's not an overwhelming athlete, he's not a great blocker, he's not a nuanced or explosive route-runner... not saying he can't be an unbelievable player but i'd have some real concerns about his transition to the pros
Tyler Booker - it can be easy to paint OGs as safe when they're powerful maulers - but he's not a perfect prospect on film and doesn't have much athletic upside - it's possible he translates and transforms the running game of a team he goes to but there's also a significant chance he's just fine and more like john simpson (a tone-setter in the run game who can be taken advantage of in pass pro) - i either want a bit more upside or a bit of a safer floor for a guy i might be taking in the 1st round (but this draft isn't that deep with 1st round type prospects)
Shemar Stewart - freakish athlete, but not the flexible and explosive guy that travon walker was (despite the comps) - a classic case of "if he's so good at playing, why dont he play good" - the question is a little bit about flexibility and finishing and more about instincts which is a real concern - he's an alien in terms of his traits and you have to get him into the facility to meet him to get to know him better and also see what your OLB coach says (notable he's had a ton of visits with teams) - he's the kind of guy you bet big on if he's available later in R1 because guys with those traits aren't usually available that late, but there's also a reason this guy might be
Tetairoa McMillan - he's not as explosive or sudden as drake london, he's not as big, violent or physical as mike evans and he doesnt have the long-speed, he's a really fluid athlete with awesome ball skills and a great frame but those guys were top 10 picks for a reason and there's a reason he shouldn't be even in a weaker class, he's not an obviously consistent separator - you have to love the arrogance with which he plays, and also be concerned about the lack of urgency in his game
Nick Emmanwori - tested like a superstar, but (just like Shemar Stewart at EDGE) didn't do the agilities and that was the bigger question on film - he's obviously an explosive athlete but he's not got the loosest hips and his transition quickness isn't there - he also doesn't consistently trigger quickly enough and while the route anticipation and instincts are fine, they're not what i'd want from a 1st round safety
Some other guys I'm much lower on than consensus:
Jonah Savaiinaea - doesn't play with good technique, doesn't have good play-strength or create much movement with base blocks, struggles to anchor and can be bulled far too easily by power and speed-to-power - those are significant hinderances to becoming a starter - tools still make him a potentially worthwhile pick but i'm seeing 2nd round grades and top 60 rankings all over the place and that's way too rich for me
Jack Sawyer - jack of all trades without elite athletic talent and doesn't have length - classic guy who's a college legend who maybe doesnt last 3 years in the NFL - might be a good edge setter and make a career out of that but does not project well as an nfl pass rusher
Jaxson Dart - played in a horrible offence that was really simple to master with only about 4 different plays in the playbook (just made to look different with window dressing) and yet never mastered it - a guy that many years in a system that simple, should not be panicking and not getting through the play progression as consistently (or inconsistently) as he did whenever teams took away his first read - has decent athletic traits, decent arm talent and a good deep ball - but that doesnt scream QB3 to me even in a weak QB class
