Next Up: vs. Chiefs (AFC Championship)

The NFL named Bill Vinovich the ref for the Super Bowl and CBS Sports has a article detailing the records of the final four teams with Vinovich as the ref. Should be noted that Vinovich was the ref for the game against the 49ers on Christmas. So again... all this talk about the refs but as long as we do what we've done all season, we will be fine.

Lions: 2-2 (1-0 in 2023)
49ers: 2-4 (0-1 in 2023)
Ravens: 7-2 (2-0 in 2023)
Chiefs: 5-2 (0-0 in 2023)
Besides the numbers, I'm pretty sure everyone knows AFCCG is the real SB.

just so you know. I picked this up off the Chiefs forum and posted it here. No excuses here, we will be beating you fair and square.

Welcome to the boards. I don’t go to the Chiefs board as it is filled we a bunch of immature bs.
Chiefs fans are among the most arrogant in the nation. I guess that comes with their recent history of late.

But while it didn't matter last year, I always come back to the fact that this team really misses Tyreek Hill. Easy to say that this year after all the dropsies by their Wars.

But of late Kansas City has run pretty well in 13 personnel, with the 2 TEs and Isiah Pacheco. If the Ravens could put the clamp on that, it's sayonara for them. I do think the Ravens Cover, probably win by 2 scores. 34-24 or something like that.
You’re right there are some arrogant fans for sure. We don’t miss Hill, we built our defense with the draft picks we got from him. Mahomes has been forced to be a better qb without him. His regression this year is totally on his receivers. With Rice breaking out the last couple weeks, we are about the same as the team in the SB and we functioned pretty well against the supposed unbeatable defense.

The yardage we gave up to the Bills on the ground was stopped after halftime. It was by design as we didn’t respect the Bills ability to run, our mistake. That won’t be the case on Sunday as we will make Lamar beat us through the air. It very well may happen. If it does we lose no doubt. I just don’t see either team getting north of 30.

What's it matter to you, your sorry arse teams going to be going home with their tails tucked in after we unleash a can of whoopbutt on you.
Funny that sounds like Philly fan last year ( along with Bengals fan) and niners fans 3 years ago. You guys very well may win and I wouldn’t be that surprised or disappointed. The Chiefs are playing with house money and a lot of experience.

I agree that KC has a very underrated defense with both of your corners very good. I think KC has had the most drops in the league, kind of reminds me of what Lamar used to have to go through. Just check out our wide receivers in 2019 in his first full season as a starter. Sneed, Crabtree and a rookie Hollywood with a screw in his foot.

I wouldn't compare you to the same team you had in the Super Bowl, but agree has started to break out. Now lets see how well he does against the Ravens defense....even without Marlon Humphrey.

You're playing with a rookie WR who's ok, a decrepit Travis Swift, and a guy at RB who resembles an angry leprechaun when he runs

there are always some fans with any team and yes Philly, Bengals Niners and Pats fans can be that way. But Philly wins that hands down.

Pacheco runs like he is mad at the ground. I do agree he is not long for the league as he enjoys the contact. As for Swift… I agree he is aging but he has a knack for coming up big. The Bills have played us 6 times in 3 years and still can’t figure it out. I would imagine taking him away will be your focus.

they may well draw up some new stuff
but it wont be this 13 personnel stuff because that plays right into our hands with Roquan, Hamilton and Smith in the game...

Oh I agree. That exact game plan wouldn’t work as they would be running right into Hamilton and he shows a great ability to beat blockers to the point. I was just saying that Reid’s ability to formulate a great game plan to attack a weakness on a defense is something we need to be prepared for. Also, I was trying to think about who they would attack. It seemed like Houston tested Darby and that didn’t fare well

Why would that be the focus when Kyle Hamilton will shut him down one on one?

I love Pacheco, really feel he is a very good back and don't think Reid uses him enough, but that is Andy Reid. Yes, Kelce is aging and he does come up big and I feel he will get his yards, but I also believe Hamilton will do well against him.

My guess would be some wide zone stuff out of 11 personnel… not sure they have the right style of RBs to kill us with it though

Rams gameplan isn’t really replicable

Not sure what holes there are to attack right now
