This game shows you something is wrong. This is identical to every other playoff game. It's always the same. OL doesn't protect Lamar. Doesn't matter what year. Doesn't matter what player group. Doesn't matter what stadium. They always fail him.

Unless this offense plays much better in the 3rd quarter, I just don't see it this time. Lamar needs to throw it away sometimes and we need to throw some quick passes. These intermediate and long plays aren't cutting with this (lack of) protection.

Defense is playing well for the time being, but we need to force a turnover. If not, I expect this team to melt down to some extent and the anti-Lamar narratives will rear their ugly heads yet again.

Simpson has played like trash.
Linderbaum is elite.
Zeitler is borderline elite.
Moses is competent enough but hurt.
Faalele is trash.

No team has an elite 5 man squad plus depth. This roster is more than competent enough. They're just playing like pussies.
