The biggest key to this three game stretch is scoring on pur first drive what happens when KC comes out and per say blows the doors off us and goes up 14-0 do you think Lamar can really throw us back into a game the answer is hell no the second someone grabs a two possession lead on us and we have to play catch up and believe me if we do make it to the playoffs or play teams like the chiefs it will happen and I hope he proves me wrong but he missed 3 throws alone to john brown where he was pretty open today we cant miss those plays

Early in the season, I know we were joking and being sarcastic saying the season was over with the close losses. However, I seriously believed our season was over after the Steelers lost. The only way I'll change my mind is we clinch a playoff spot. Since the Bengals game, the only thing I care about now is the development and progression of Lamar. Will I get hyped if we made the playoffs? You damn right I would. However, as you pointed out, this means another year of incompetence from M***y. Hard pass! No thanks!

I wasn't jokin... Feel the same way. I'm more shocked the Colts lost considering how everything was shaping up for them. Would love the see the Chargers thrash the Steelers.

What makes you think Joe could lead us back from that? When was the last time we won a shoot out?

With the way the D is playing and how the offensive line is playing I'd love to see Joe behind center to be very honest but you have a point he hasnt done it in awhile but it makes me think of the 2016 Steelers game on Christmas day where he led us up and down the field or the saints game this year leading the game tieing drive he can throw you cant run yourself into a game period have you seen Lamar throw like I'll give you that he isnt awful but he is a rookie and he has missed some very very easy throws and made only a few decent ones period

Without a big run game against the Chiefs, we have zero chance of winning. Lamar has the run game rolling .
If he could make a few more accurate passes , he could really put up some points against the Chiefs .
Our receivers really let him down against the Falcons .

No way joe brings us back either

I see why some of you dont have faith in Joe hopefully you can also see why I may not have full faith in Lamar either way let's win in Kansas city this week.... Sunday couldn't come faster

The Chiefs offense is humming, but their defense has given up a lot of points, especially on the ground. The only offense they really held in check in the run game was the Steelers. Heck a few games ago the gave up over 180 yards rushing to the Broncos and over 170 yards today to the Raiders. We should be able to run on them and control the clock even better than the others.

My thinking is, I don't see us winning it all with either at qb. That then leads me to say, why should we bench the rookie when we're winning and he needs the reps anyway? At this point, you keep him in unless he's injured and thank Joe for what he's done. One of the dumbest things I've seen recently is the QB carousel in Tampa.

The thing is I see no reason the Ravens cannot make the Super Bowl this year. As such you go in for who can win right now. Two or three games are not enough development to justify throwing away a potential Super Bowl.

I'm with you there I think we could win a super bowl this year and rookies dont have a good track record me and you seem to be on the same page here with all of this but it only seems to be me and you lol

Besides the Steelers, how often do we beat playoff caliber opponents?

I saw a stat somewhere about our record post SB vs either +.500 or playoff competition and the numbers were hideous. Why should we keep repeating what hasn't been working? People want to mention how we're beating up on bad competition like our wins earlier came against powerhouses...

Every little imperfection in our O line play is magnified 10-fold if Joe is in. He simply can't move like Lamar can and we become too predictable. Our drives are shorter, D stays on the field longer and can't keep up after a while. Opposition builds score, our running game goes away and we end up with Joe throwing 57 passes, which is equivalent of a team strapping a concrete block around the ankles and jumping off a nearest bridge, closely followed by fans mass suicide, while Flacco is praised for throwing 310y in another Ravens loss.

nothing I love more than 31-52 274 yards 1 td 1 in...

If we’re not running the ball and going 3 and out consistently you won’t be loving that. Joe goes 3 and out often and hangs our defense out to dry.

What makes you think Joe could lead us back from that? When was the last time we won a shoot out?
Exactly. This is what the Flacco crowd doesn’t understand, there is zero reason to think Flacco is the better option because he has been consistently horrible for 5 years now
