The Lamar Jackson, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Walt Coleman

I think as time goes on Lamar will pass more and run less but you are correct , he is a work in progress.
He had a good game and looked better than even I could anticipate. He’s really come a long way. But he’s not perfect yet. If he ever gets a semi accurate deep ball he’s straight up going to be unstoppable

he might have that already for all we know - coaches never let him throw any lol

He looked much improved throwing the ball. I was really impressed with his game today. He made a few mistakes, but so much positive things to take from this game.

Just got home and watched the highlights on YouTube, pretty impressive rushing attack between Edwards and LJ. And Tucker is again The Man!

I have to assume that the reason he wasn't throwing any was because they knew he couldn't. They have seen more plays from him then we have after all

my hope is that they knew the pass pro wasnt right and that they didnt want him trying to sit in the pocket for long enough to get someone open downfield

the bengals literally couldnt stop the run all day

both lamar and gus went over 100 yards each on the ground alone

Lamar had a 70.1 rating , Dalton 89 and yet we still won! If Joe had a 70 rating we would have lost for sure.

This is a good sign !

The amount of people thinking the domeshot to Alex Lewis is some indicator that lamar isn’t ready and Flacco needs to start again...

Bruh, do y’all not see the irony? You have to... you HAVE to understand that Flacco as the NFLs tallest starter leads the league in balls batted at the line... and you’re talking about lamar hitting Lewis... come on....

I hate this argument. I’m sure you and others said the same thing about hurst starting over brown, or Carr starting over Humphrey last year. Time and time again we clamor for a younger player to start, people say “coaches know better than we do” and then we see said player get a chance and flourish.
