Article: Crap Speculation. Kap to the RAVENS

really though. It is my thread. Can I close my own thread ?
No you can't, but you can delete your posts.

I have moved several posts to the political thread. Any more posts from Sami or anyone on this stuff, whether it be political or this laken rose stuff will cause a temporary ban. This is not and never will be a place for that type of discussion. If you haven't figured it out by now @Sami84 this is a Ravens forum. You can take this as a warning.

My apologies RavensMania, I didn't read through the rest of the thread (didn't see your post about ceasing) before posting my post in reply to Sami, I won't post any more political posts here. I appologize

I just deleted it then

Appreciate it. I'm a pretty laid back person, but this crap Sami posted shouldn't be anywhere on purpleflock, and has pissed me off. He's lucky I moved most of it to the political thread.

You see this thread Sami?? It answered question y nobody wants kaepernick. And how serious his actions are. You see what happens when a QB divides his team politically?? No team wants a civil war among teammates

What Kap did was a very "me" thing. It was *his* protest. It was *his* point of view. It was *his* agenda.
In a game like football anything less than a unified team is doomed to fail.

That is the main reason I can't see him fitting in well here.

Maybe this is the real reason why the old boards closed, the Admin/mod team saw this coming and said F it

Kaepernick is a much better QB than Mallett, but with that said, I don't want a PR circus annoying this organization, and there will be way to much drama when Kaepernick is cut, whether that's from poor play or because he's too much of a distraction. Just stick with Mallett unless it becomes clear that Flacco's injury will linger, then we can explore other options, but I'm more optimistic about his health since he came out and talked about what's going on instead of Harbaugh dancing around the subject, and Joe seems confident he'll be ready to play well before week one.

Well, what I'm saying is that people need to take a good look at themselves and instead of kaep getting the blame, instead people should question where their anger is stemming from and if it actually has any substance or validity and it doesn't form a TRUTH standpoint.

Women were executed in the middle ages for being called witches. Most people agreed and didn't want them in society.
Who was morally correct?

I'm done with this thread ( in this context). I like Kaep and if flacco goes down ( wouldnt shock me with this line and flacco's back) you can wave the season goodbye (if we are having something to play for) with mallet at QB. Kaep is one of the best backups in the league. Mallett is close to being out of the league.

thats harsh on pigs.

Just stick with assholes and cowards.
Just curious Sami? By this post, I must ask, do you hate all us police officers? Kap may be a better backup than Mallett, but I am wondering if you put more value on having Kap than say a veteran o-lineman, because you really like him for his social/political stance? In your last post you admitted that you are not fond of our o-line. Wouldn't it be best to try to bolster our o-line with the last bit of cap space and try to keep our starting QB protected than sign another backup because this o-line may not be able to keep him safe? To me, if we can't protect Joe with our current o-line and he may get hurt, what would stop Kap from being injured in the next game? Therefore, I say lets try to bolster our o-line and try to win with Joe!

I'd like to make a few things clear. Kaep is a good guy and has shown courage to use his position to draw attention to an important aspect of humanitarian freedom. I doubt we'd see eye to eye one everything but if there were more Kaeprenicks in this world and less donald trumps/Obamas we'd probably be living in a better place. Now about cops, I don't hate all cops PERSONALLY ( this is key, i'd like to point this out), however, I hate the ideology that they are maintaining and their inability to see through the immorality of what it is they are arresting/abusing/killing people for.

Badges mean nothing to me. Just like grades at school mean nothing. They are pride control mechanisms and keep people in a robotic state of mind as it pertains to justice. This entire matrix is created DELIBERATELY so authoritarianism and it's controlling mongers have an environment where they can mentally enslave people into a fear of death and cops/military are among the most brainwashed into believing this and it becomes a collective worldwide where ideologies of a false morality attack each other out of brainwashed concepts such as the Abrahamic religions, flags, oil, weapons, borders that don't exist etc

there is NO doubt in my mind certain cops and military people think they are doing the right thing and mean well. I'm sure they exist ( lots of them don't even have that quality though). the truth is though what is happening is that cops and military create more violence than they actually solve. Just like how banning drugs leads to more crime(which ironically is what politicians want, otherwise, it would all be legal), the system creates an environment where propaganda creates fear ( the fear of death is the beginning of slavery) and through schooling you're told that you belong to the state and you are not, in reality, to be treated as a sovereign being.

If you're interested look into Jordan Maxwells books.

and finally, to answer your question on Kaep, I don't care about his stance as it pertains to our football team. I care that if Joe goes down, we have a guy that can pick up the slack and I feel he can do so at a massively higher level than ryan mallett.

I think most can agree on that.

Yeah, the way Mallett has been throwing INT's in practice makes me seriously concerned. Kaep may be a better option than Mallett, but we have Mallett under contract, not Kaep. My gut is telling me Joe's injury is minor (he seems real upbeat and not acting injured, something I don't think he would be if his back was a serious injury). Therefore, the question is: Do we get serious and sign either a Mangold or Howard and try to win with Joe or do we keep this pitiful o-line in tact and invest in Kaep using that same pitiful o-line? BTW, thanks for answering my other question and for the record I did not hit the thumbs down or disagree button on the post I quoted and I am sorry about your friend. I will think about talking more with you in the politics thread, but after all these years in the Baltimore City Police Department, my mind is very very tired.

Appreciate that.

To be honest, I don't know what the FO can do realisticly to improve this O line unless its a trade. I feel both Mangold and Howard are lacking in motivation and just want a payday. Not what this team needs. I can live without an elite center but looking at our schedule and the pass rushers we are facing, James Hurst is scaring me more with each passing moment.

Rick Wagner isn't a mauler like lewan or lane johnson but he's always been a very solid pass protector. B.Williams better be getting 6-7 sacks this year and have the highest run D grade if he wants me to feel like he hasn't robbed us of a more important player.

I think Mallett throwing interceptions in practice is overblown. There have been several times reported, once almost each season, where Flacco had a day where he threw a bunch of interceptions. And it really only sounds like he was bad that one practice. I don't think this team needs to worry until Mallett looks terrible in preseason. The time Mallett has played he has looked decent for us thus far I don't think that would change overnight because he isn't old. In the end the team knows and if they sign Colin good for them they know the team better than anyone and if not I trust them. I don't think Mallett is as bad as people are making him out to be right now. Quarterbacks have bad practices.

Also I don't get the fans saying they will boycott the team if they do sign Colin. Do they not realize that he would likely be playing behind Flacco the entire season and the fans would likely never see him unless the worst outcome happened?

I'm not so sure about that. Mallet has a strong accurate arm. He is smarter than Kaep. He worked behind Brady and Belichick for 3 years. His problem was maturity. He is far more mature and committed now or else Harbaugh wouldn't even keep him around. Kaep started nearly 5 yrs and didn't get any better. How many games has Mallet played?? He played ok in 2015 against Pitt and Cincy. 2 very tough defenses. And his weapons were subpar standard. What I'm saying is give Mallet several games if Joe is injured again. He could become a very effective QB.

I don't think you did anything to bad. It was a thoughtful conversation. I commend you and everybody actually for keeping the insults and name calling to a bare minimum. ( as far as I know) But it was wrong thread that's all. You Shoulda moved to political thread long b4 it actually did so lol. No harm or hard feelings

Again the question is, are the interception a fault of Mallet or a positive on our secondary?
