Yeah he did Poe. But my mentioning him wasn't in reference to "wanting him back". Personally, as a HUGE Tyrod fan, I'm glad that he got the hell out of Baltimore to get an opportunity to start elsewhere. Many Ravens fans didn't really want him cause he's a "dual-threat" (run and pass) type of QB who sometimes ran first to move the chains. But they wanted that proverbial....just stand in the pocket "Frankenstein" type QB like Joe and Mallett. And now, that Joe is down for a few days, they are entertaining the possibility of bringing in Kap and RG3 who are "dual-threat" type QB's? Smh!

Do I want to spend what little cap we have left to not solidify the offensive line by signing someone really solid like Austin Howard? No. Fix the damn line or Flacco is going to get hurt

Believe me, Kap isnt going to be getting much more than a minimum with how he's being blackballed.

I guess it's james hurst folkes. You're gonna want kaep as flacco will be assaulted and probably out for the season soon.

as weird as this feels and as weirdly as you put it i think i agree with your sentiment - i do still find it bizarre that the national anthem happens before every single game - because technically not everyone on those teams is from the USA and they arent playing international games - no non-North-American sport plays a national anthem before the game - it would make sense for the superbowl as the pinnacle of the sport nationally but for club games it felt weird until i got used to it

the other one that i find objectively weird that everyone across the globe takes as a given is the idea of sovereign national borders
the idea of the nation is imagined yet it determines the value of someone's life and their ability to go anywhere in the world - it's bizarre that because you were born in one bit of land that you cannot go somewhere else

but i realise we are now quite severely off topic...
 
I think for some, it isn't a matter of being "capable" of thinking outside the box but more a matter of not letting it consume our world. I think I see things pretty clearly for what they are. Do I care? Not really, because I cannot change it. I am sure your counter would be that it's people thinking like me that are the reason nothing changes and that's fine, but I live a happy life and there seems to be an awful lot of anger and resentment towards society in previous posts.

Long story short, shit is what it is. I've accepted it a long time ago.

thats fine. I respect that, honesty. Just saying though that the Kaep situation is over the top and people who are acting as immaturely as the teams, media and fans who are saying they are going to boycott blah blah need to take a step back and see what they are actually rejecting. Might be an eye opener for them..
 
Putting aside the fact that I am not a fan of Kap, I think we would be better off signing a proven o-lineman. We have no real quality depth on the o-line and the guys we have penciled in as starters have struggled on the o-line in the past. Our cap situation does not allow us to sign Kap and veteran o-lineman and I think we would be better served signing a veteran o-lineman. If we had the cap room for two veterans, I would sign Mangold and Howard over Kap and one of them. I believe games are won in the trenches and our o-line seems very lacking and that worries me more than having another backup quarterback, even if Joe misses the whole preseason. FYI, if the Ravens do sign Kap, I will be disappointed but I don't have it in me to stop loving the team. The Ravens are like family to me and as long as they don't move out of Baltimore they will be my team. If they ever move out of Baltimore, they will be dead to me like the Indianapolis Colts. I dislike Kap, I don't hate him. Now Bob Irsay, he was a different story.

If you have nothing to say don't react. That's how i see it. I don't like people who don't even read and look beyond an impulsive reaction. They are the worst kind of people. Don't waste my notifications on my phone. It's a trolling like reaction rather than one with any kind of merit.
