The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Jags edition

Special teams:

We just sucked on STs today. Which is honestly inexcusable.

Stout just didn't pin them once. Plain and simple.

Duv had 2 punts where one got us pinned on the goal line and the other was one inch away from having us pinned a second time. I know they were difficult situations but the raw fact of the matter is we got out punted today and it mattered.

Duv had one of the worst KRs of his career when it really mattered today. Just sucked yet again in the field position game.

Tucker. Man oh man do Iove this guy. He's just legitimately the best. We asked him to do the impossible to win us the game and he nearly did it. But it's funny, every unto, offense, defense, and STs all had a chance to win the game and they all came up short. I absolve Tucker entirely but it's just funny, the Ravens didn't have a single unit seize their opportunity to win the game.
In a way, I'm glad that he didn't hit that. I'm serious. Cause, if he had, that would give a false narrative about this team. That they are warriors and fought back etc. No! They never took control of the game as they should have being the "better" team on paper and record-wise. They weren't! What's the saying; "Bad teams find ways to lose!" Well, there you have it. The Ravens are not as good as we'd like to think they are. They are mediocre at best. After 10 weeks in, they are what they are. Nothing less, nothing more. So, the Broncos are up next. Hopefully, we can beat them. We'll see.

You all back old men with dementia who sniff young girls and old men who say grab em by the pussy but are here preaching about a qb on twitter. If yall dont go somewhere else with that bullshit...
I mean he shouldn’t squabble with dipshit fans on Twitter is all

Last one.

Coaching:

I'm gonna get blasted for this one. I find mainly 2 big faults in the coaching, one with GRo and one with MM.

GRo:

Something aint right about just doing the simplest thing on all of football. Getting to the line of scrimmage and snapping the ball. This team has had issues with this across years and also across games this season. If there is one weak link, the Ravens surely knwo who to is. FIX IT. If it's multiple people fucking it up, either find a way to practice it and clean it up or something in a more fundamental level is fucked an needs fixing because I don't know of another team with this problem. More likely than not it's on Roman because we've read the complaints of the same issue from Bills and 49er fans of the past. SNAP THE GOD DAMN BALL ON TIME.

MM:

Man has had 11 double digit 4th quarter leads and onyl has 7 wins to show for it. I wrote a whole long post about why we should give him the benefit of the doubt for the early season stuff. But today he goes out there and same result as early season but the ONLY difference was that Kyle Hamilton was out. He was only missing one rookie S number 4. If your whole defense is reliant on this jack of all trades rookie S and will fall apart otherwise, your defense is not constructed properly.

I refuse to believe that Hamilton was the reason for what we saw today because that's just honestly so unreasonable. The implications are all that benefit of the doubt needs to come back into question because we got the same bullshit ass defensive collapse with 99% of the defense. The sad unfortunate reality is likely those 4 wins where the defense has been better are likely just the product of playing truly bottom dwelling teams.

The offense wasn't constructed with any depth at WR and injuries have taken their toll. Defense should have largely everything it needs and still sucks.

As I said earlier in the week, expect this team to do a bunch more losing down the final stretch.

And it would have literally took just a single play from any of the three units.

I'm still in disbelief that our team could play so poorly top to bottom. It's simply the case that a good team doesn't have every single one of its units play poorly. This team is bad. I've been saying this team is bad and fundamentally flawed since probably the Miami game lmao. But even after our win against the Bucs I accepted this team is bad. Today's game is the nail in the coffin which was already nailed a million times prior.

The combination of roster construction, continuous inescapable injuries, and all around poor coaching and player execution on a week to week basis makes this a bad team. You should have no serious expectations for this team.

The really regretting part of this all is that the Ravens simply wasted the rookie contract and maybe even career of probably its most important player in its history. Who knows if Lamar even wants to come back to this shit hole of a team that let's him down every week and season.

Truly a single play on a total of legitimately 4 plays on offense, about 10 plays on defense and one (Tucker) or 3 including stout on STs.

We're talking about like 15 or so plays here. It's hard to be this bad.

like Geno Stone catching the interception that hit him in the chest or Gus Edwards not fumbling ball so deep on our side of the field or DRob catching the touchdown pass, etc... etc... etc...

I thought the ST units were rough today but don't understand the complaint against Stout. He literally only punted once today and Seymour was a half step away from keeping it out of the end zone.

maybe we should blame him for a bad hold (not) that ended Tuckers 4th quarter / overtime streak at 65.

Biggest issue with special teams was obviously Duvernay.

I've been saying this. The Ravens are not that good-period! Don't let a few "W's" fool you. I saw this coming based on how they played last week. Think about it; the Ravens were at home, had nearly 2 weeks of rest, and were playing the 3-6 Panthers. How'd that play out? They struggled big time until the very last few minutes when the defense bailed the offense out of a pitiful performance. Then today. How'd they play? Nearly the exact same way against the 3-7 Jaguars but this time on the road. Last week's performance was a foreshadowing of today's performance. None of us should be surprised, shocked, or even pissed that they took an "L" today. Now, another bad team-the Broncos is coming to town. Wonder how the Ravens will play? Hmm. Perhaps, their performance from their last 2 games may be insightful. Just saying.

They'll probably beat Denver but don't be surprised if they lose once to the Steelers, lose to the Browns and lose to the Bengals.

Predicting a 10-7 record for this team.
