Predicted record this year

Ice Bowl

Ravens Ring of Honor
I'm going with 11-5 for you guys. What do you all think? I see lots of offensive talent you added in FA and D help in the draft.

Probably 9/7 for me. Think we're a better and more complete team than we were last year but we have a lot of question marks about the new offensive weapons, the shape of the defense... Tough schedule with that, and it's just too optimistic to say more than 9/7

The hardest part is you guys have to play the NFC South which might be tougher than last year. Who knows though maybe those teams will flop.

I have them going 8-8. Hard schedule at least on paper. Better offense, but a whole new receiving corp that needs to gel with Flacco and his health is no longer a given. I think Flacco will have a good, but not great season. The defense has a new coordinator that we don’t know how he will utilize his weapons and Jimmy may not be able to start the season. We do have depth but he is without a doubt our best CB and I am not a fan of having to play Carr a lot, he’s not bad, but he’s not great either. My bold prediction is that Lamar doesn’t see the field this year and the packages are BS just a ploy so teams may have to prepare for it.

Probably around 10-6 but 11-5 would not shock me. I think I favor them in every jome game but NO and NO on the road is a lot less scary then NO at home.

So question is of the 7 road games that aren't the Browns can they win 2? Schedule says yes and thats 10 wins.

I'll be happy if we're higher than 9-7, I don't see it happening though.

We have a chance to open the season 3-0, but I also wouldn't be surprised if we went 2-4 over the next 6. Later you have a 4 week span that includes games @Falcons, @Chiefs, and @Chargers.

we're an improved team with a harder schedule - so i'd stand pat at last year's record of 9-7 but until we see what the AFC West and NFC South actually look like in season (not just in the offseason) it's gonna be hard to remotely guess - this team i think has the range of 11-5 and 7-9

i think 7-9 is a likely worst case scenario and it would require us to lose to every good (and some bad) teams but 11-5 is not unrealistic

8-8

lack of pass rush and rangy safteys will hurt us.

i expect our O to do well but our D to be worse

We will win games people think we shouldn't and lose games people think we will win. I will go with 10-6 and hopefully we get to see January Joe in action after that.

I'm gonna go with an optimistic 10-6 because I think Joe will be motivated to take this team back to the playoffs. Of course, this is way early to make a prediction and half the roster could be on IR before the season starts so I wouldn't put money on anything.

19-0.
But realistically around 8-8. I expect them to start slow especially given that we play on the road in the beginning. Still have a lack of pass rush and Wink making some mistakes.

I think we go 11-5 and shock some people. Our defense is set at nearly every position except maybe ILB but at least we have depth everywhere. Our defense will hold their own

The key to our season will be our offensive line IMO and im feeling very confident with our group there as long as they stay healthy and build continuity.

With our schedule this year i really think we need to focus on running the ball and controlling the line of scrimmage on defense. We need to stay true to our roots, we have the roster to do it and scheme to make it work.

We just really have to stay RELATIVELY HEALTHY. That means not having half a team on IR.

If we do all that we go 11-5........but the NFL us rigged and we'll go 10-6 and make the playoffs as a wild card....cause the NFL dont want important televised games in Baltimore.....

I think we'll be somewhere between 8-8 and 10-6. It will depend on how quickly the offense can gel and on if there are any injuries.

There are a few dependent variables here. They're obvious

1. Joe Flacco. Duh. He actually has talent around him for the first time since the super bowl. If you really think about it.... That WR corps was not amazing during the run. Boldin was a good #1, but Pitta was an above average TE, Torrey was a good deep threat and the perfect compliment to Boldin, and Jacoby was the big play threat. Ray Rice was the best weapon on that team. Now, we don't have weapons on par with either Boldin or Rice.. But this corps is deeper. We went for quantity since high quality wasn't really an option. Which is a good start, but fixing the WR corps is a two year affair.. That said, adding a good young slot WR in Snead, and two very promising receiving TE prospects in Hurst and Andrews is a good foundation. I think one of Lasley or Scott becomes a solid #2 WR. That said... If Flacco cannot maximize the talent around him... The team will have a losing record. We have yet to see what happens. I'm optimistic, but cautiously so. That said, the one commonality between Brown, Crabtree, Snead, Hurst, and Andrews is that THEY CAN CATCH THE BALL. Orlando Brown is a probable upgrade over Howard, Yanda is an easy upgrade over Skura, and Lewis is an easy upgrade over Hurst..Who once again WAS BELOW AVERAGE AT GUARD.

2. Wink. I know the Bengals game has left a sour taste in our mouths.... The defense has loads of talent. Not as much as the three best defenses in the league, those being Jacksonville, Minnesota, and Philly. But we are in the tier below. It's a super bowl unit. Wink is an unproven option who I am very skeptical of. There's a good amount of talent here and I do feel as if Pees did not maximize some of the front 7 talent. Also known as, he didn't really rotate enough. A good dline rotation and the team should be fine. If Wink is a definitive upgrade over Pees.. The defense is going to be a rock. We still need to add a Tre Boston or Navarro Bowman.

3. Tim Williams- If Wink actually lets the guy develop he should at the very worst be a good pass rush specialist. Look at Paul Kruger in 2011. He put pressure on the QB. Williams was a far superior prospect coming out of school. Kruger was a poor run defender too. Let Williams get snaps and develop and he could have a Kruger-esq impact.

4. Tyus Bowser- Other X-Factor. Let him play in coverage. He could be a nightmare for opposing QBs. He's overrated as an edge rusher, but I would not want to deal with that guy blitzing up the middle. Again LET HIM PLAY.
