Lamar Jackson

MVP was an urban legend. A myth around these parts like the loch ness monster. Never in my previous years as a fan did I think we'd have a qb who was even considered MVP caliber.

Also didn't much care if we had one. Same thing with the 1k wr as long as guys were productive/reliable.
Right. I just want the chip. Always.

All this has made me realise is that I don't give a flying fuck about MVP and I am sad that yet again we underperformed and I've got to watch some other cunts compete for the Superbowl tomorrow.
Yea i mean i was annoyed he didn’t get it but if he had it wasn’t going to fix the pain from the divisional game. Or worse, last year.

Jack holding it down

I don’t think the tweet is available anymore.. what did it say?

"Best playoff performers minimum 30 plays"

Basically lamar was the same lamar in the playoffs that he was in the regular season even with the INT and the fumble

He's QB1

I mean if Andrews didn't fuck us with two drops and a fumble OR the refs didn't fuck with that bullshit dpi OR the defense managed to force a turnover than we beat thr bills so it doesn't really surprise me Lamar statically played well
I’m so tired of seeing us beat ourselves man. In my head I was like are we REALLY gonna just shit the bed again? Like it’s gotta stop eventually, right?

I think that we need our defense or Henry to just take over a game. The last two years our defense has looked shaky in our loses which caused our offense to press, because they feel like they have to score on every drive and then we make mistakes. I really feel like if we could have one game that gets taken over by the defense like our 2009 game against the pats then the offense would settle down and we go all the way to the super bowl

They certainly will persist until he plays at his best in January/February.

ok he wasnt at his "best" in the sense that he had 2 turnovers
but the rest of the game (and the one before), by the graph shows he was his normal elite self in the playoffs... that level of play should have been enough to beat the bills (and nearly was)

Andrews dropped the ball and people were saying Lamar should have thrown it better. The narrative isn't changing until he wins a Super Bowl, and even then it might persist.
