Lamar Jackson

How is this the FO fault? Maybe Lamar being unrealistic with his demands. I bet they made him really good offer.

I don't feel like reading pages to find the answer but the non exclusive is less money so allows us to make more moves? Or am I wrong?

It's a business and in business you take risk. Let's see if LJ and whoever back him up can negotiate with other teams on contract that can beat The Ravens offer. We going to really see how business savvy either The Ravens are or Lamar Jackson after this .

You’re not wrong. It’s just if Lamar is traded, he’s worth more than 2 first round picks

We all know the answer to this lol

Because the number of teams that are willing to give up heavy draft capital and a huge deal has long been overstated.
So basically Lamar should be crawling back to us with his tail tucked in between his legs

Maybe teams aren't as high on him as we thought? I mean he hasn't finished 2 seasons in a row and if rumors are true he wants that guaranteed money, teams are not going to want to give that up.

Very curious to see how all of this works out now though. Teams are now forced to work with Lamar directly and we know that's been an issue and a big reason why we're at this point now. Not only that, but there's a strong likelihood that you're going to give him an offer quickly because most teams are not going to have the cap available a few weeks into FA. Opening day of free agency should be wild.

I don't see him as the type to do that for some reason. I just feel he don't want to be here and is sticking to that number no matter what as a way to leave.

Is like dude you don't have weapons and you want to cripple the team and not allow them to get you any with your contract demands.

Looking through the cap situations, the Bears and maybe the Texans are the only teams at this time that could cripple us and prevent us from matching. Also impacts heavily what each of those teams is able to do elsewhere though.

Trade him to Houston!!!

If the Texans sign him we get the 2nd overall pick this draft and their first next year? If so then I wouldn't mind this route. We can either get the QB that we want in this draft or trade the #2 pick for a haul.
