Lamar Jackson

I know a lot of you hate hypothetical questions but do you think Indy would trade #4 and a top player (LG Quenton Nelson or DT Buckner or to a lesser degree one of their WRs) for Lamar? Would you be happy with this trade? Would you need additional picks?

I would not watch the ravens religiously like I do now then. Maybe I’ll go outside and enjoy the sun…
Just said the same thing last night when talking about the situation. Half the season with Huntley is bad enough. Fuck outta here with an entire year
If i can survive /watch every game of 07 and 15 , I’ll survive Huntley as well. I even bought tickets for the Jimmy Clausen, Gold pants, Chiefs game. I’m a glutton for pain

Holy shit… you’re a masochist

Anything possible but of course the Ravens would probably wants more than just that. It all depends on if the Colts really feel like L.J can be that player they are missing at the quarterback position since losing Andrew Luck. If I was the Colts head coach and saw my team traded for L.J it probably would be bittersweet for me because the pressure of performing great just went up higher. It' also puts the Colts general manager position in somewhat danger as well if things don't go as planned and then there's the possibility that L.J could missed some games as well

I'm beginning to think they need to pick third. I don't trust Tenn.

So it’s likely after this conference that the Ravens don’t to play Lamar on the tag and Lamar doesn’t want to play on the tag.

So it’s highly likely a trade will happen at draft time .

Put a fork in him he done - U.S. trademark pending.

07 season was really rough.

Both of those years were bad because of injuries weren't they?

You realize (even though you probably don't) that someone actually has to be willing to pay him to facilitate a trade, right? No one is trading for him without a contract in place and I don't know if you've been paying attention, but that contract offer he wants doesn't exist.

I think this clip sums it up. We also thought Troy Smith was the answer to our QB prayers

Players are nice, but I'd probably just want the picks. Plus I don't see why Indy would devalue their team that way if the objective is to bring in Lamar and win now.

To save face imo , Lamar will accept less than what he is demanding to go to another team and the Ravens will be overjoyed to get rid of him .

Nobody wants a player that doesn’t want to play for you .

After hearing the actual question, dude jumped the gun lol

yeah EDC seemed happy to answer the question as answered but PR guy (assuming it was Chad Steele) jumped the gun and made it look way worse than it was

lucky he's not working in New York or he would have been crucified

Then they need to trade with Chicago to pick third and then trade Lamar in a separate deal.
So its probably just me, but I only want Stroud or Young. I want nothing to do with Levis, and I'm not taking Richardson that early, and aren't opposed to not taking him at all.

So that means I need top two. And I'm not certain we can get that.

I'd rather have a high first rounder this year and multiples in future years, so we can move up and down the draft board at will in a future year. Quite frankly, IF we traded with the Colts and got #4, and Young and Stroud are gone, I'm trading #4 for a haul of current and future year picks. I'd want 2-3 first rounders next year so I could move up and get whoever I wanted. And everybody knows the two studs next year currently anyway.

Eric said we have QBs in our top 31 on the big board. If that's the truth... his implication was that we could take a QB RD1.

I think he's probably lying, but it just hurts to hear this shit

he's not lying lol
they grade how they grade

they normally have QBs in their top 32 every year (maybe not last year) - doesnt mean they'll take them... but also doesnt mean they'll rule out taking them

like obviously he's playing it somewhat coy because it's not in their interests to "give anything away" but based on the QBs they're talking about i'd find it hard to believe that they wouldnt have at least 3 QBs in their top 31 this year...
