He's just far from worth the 16th pick.
I never understand the concept of picks having intrinsic value. They're like auction prices - a player is worth the pick someone is willing to spend. If you like a player and think he'll be gone by your next pick then take him.

I think all the mock drafts influence the idea that this player is good in the teens and that one from 20 - 30. Funny how every mock every year has the same 32 players in a different order, as if those players are unarguably good, then every year about half the first round are busts. They just copy each other.

Example - Last year every expert agreed that Fournette was a better RB than Kamara, Hunt and Cook. They wouldn't have been worth such a high pick apparently.
 
This run down of all the failed Browns' picks is crazy. The trade downs weren't bad. But nearly every time they make awful picks.
