Lamar, The Running Game and The Defensive Collapse

Playing prevent as early as he did, against receivers that have the ability to get good yardage after the catch was frustrating. To take your foot off the gas at the start of the third quarter is just stupid!
With hump out, its kinda hard to play how you wanna

Wink was the man, but he’s gone. Our secondary got beat like a rented mule today. Lots of confusion. Also the pass rush was MIA. WTF? Made Tua look real good. 469/6/2
I think we'll see big improvement back there as the season progresses, as long as we can keep the same group together for a few games. I swear I don't get the injuries, seems like our guys' joints are made of peanut butter. lol

We're all so distraught by the loss that everyone is forgetting that Means is probably done for the year, Duvernay has a concussion and may not play next week, and Pepe was hurt at the end of the game. Hoping Pepe was just cramping but who knows with this team

Joe was more like the defense kept the game manageable for a half as the offense floundered. Then the offense came alive just to eek out a small lead before the defense finally broke.

This was far worse. The offense had a 21 point lead IN THE FOURTH QUARTER and gave up 28 points.
3 quarters no offense get fg lead and blame the defense. Good times from 16-18
Kyler murry looks worse than he did last season
COD beta dropped this weekend.

So, I leave VA on a road trip for a few days to surprise and check on my Dad in MS and driving back to Atlanta, Georgia today (heading back to VA), I got to hear on Sirius Radio that this b.s. defense has given up a 28-7 lead by helping Tua throw for 4 TD's in the 4th Qrtr? Damn! :brickwall:>:)

another key moment i forgot about until just now

the isaiah likely drop on 3rd and long when it looked like mekari was gonna get called for holding but then they waved the flag off
pass was high, but it hit his hands and he could have come down with it. Agree that would have been huge.

It’s a week to week league year yall, we’re working out kinks, still got injuries were waiting on, fine tuning and what not.

Good news is this, Lamar is playing spectacular ball through 2 weeks, the OL is pass protecting pretty well, Bateman looks like a stud, Marcus Williams on his way to the DPOY race at this rate, pat mekari and linderbaum have been stellar on the OL, all this and our roster is still missing a huge chunk of its best talent or they’re on a snap count. We’ve been notoriously bad in week 2 and that sucks but hey we’ve recovered from this many times

I’m not stressing , the Dolphins are a better team than most people think. Going to be a long year for the defense but we already knew that. CBs are beat up, LBs suck, and the pass rush relies on a senior citizen by NFL standards
Not stressing BUT the Ravens were a better team offensively and it showed! They jumped out to a 28-7 lead by halftime. However, they did have trouble going for it on 4th downs. That is a problem! The defense? That's another story! They gave up 4 touchdowns in the 4th Qrtr alone and Tua threw for 6 on them! So, in my assessment, it is not what the Dolphins did per se but what the Ravens failed to do! They failed to put a team away when they had the opportunities and got put away themselves! Pitiful!
