2018 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Wtf if I knew all it would take for Benjamin was to move up 13 spots in the 7th I would’ve jumped on it lol

Hey man he's been sitting on the block since the game started lol
I have Stills which is why I haven’t reached out for him, I didn’t want to give up anything significant for another speedster. But man I would’ve straight up given a 7th for him lol

I was wondering how long I would have to wait to seek out Dalton's replacement. Do we have a full list of QBs/RBs that will be available before FA starts?
If you go under the rules thread I have posted the Free Agents available for all of the positions. This will be updated on a regular basis.

I will be closing fa tonight. If any of the new participants have any questions as to how the final five minutes works please PM me to ensure that the entire process goes smoothly

Rules for Final Five Minutes.

With five minutes left, one of the CoCo members will create a post that will serve as a deadline for the Final Five ownership. Note: Humor error is an acknowledged factor, meaning that should the deadline posts miss their mark by being either early or tardy, the final determination will be based on the time stamps. The deadlines are strictly built around specific times, i.e. 6:55 PM, 7:00 EST and 7:15 EST, meaning that any deviation will be solved by adhering to the time stamps instead of the posts.

If a player is bid on and won during the final five minutes of the period, the team with the highest bid prior to the final five minutes will have an opportunity to request a blind bidding contest against the winner, called a "bid-off."

In order to initiate a bid-off, the aforementioned team with the highest bid prior to the final five minutes must state in the respective FA thread that they would like to bid-off for the player(s) they lost during the Final Five. The team must state the name of the player and the name of the team they're bidding against. This is required to be posted within 15 minutes of the end of the respective FA period. Missing the deadline will void the Final Five rights.

Both parties, the team that owned the highest bid prior to the final five and the team with the highest bid at the end of FA, will PM their highest bid to a predetermined CoCo member. This is a blind bidding process where the highest bid wins, so plan accordingly. In the event of a tie, both teams can continue until a winner is announced. Each team is allowed to drop out of the running.

The home team will We are now able to add a 3rd team to the bid-off process. Teams can now enter this bid-off process for their own FAs if they did not win either the final 5 bid or the overall final bid. To do so, a team has to place a bid on their player at any point in the FA period. If a bid is placed, you are eligible to enter the bid-off for your former player. We will limit teams to using this option THREE times only. This is done in effort to give teams a better shot at retaining their own players.

Oh I’m an idiot okay then I gotta take my stuff back lolol
Well then this will really suck for you.

"Editing or deleting of posts is NOT permitted, and it carries a penalty. Any team caught with editing or deleting bids will be frozen from submitting new bids for 15 minutes."

Sorry man

why'd you bid then lol?

It was only 0.5 so it didn't actually cost me anything with the rule of 51. I really thought someone would outbid me with the Pat O'Donnell love that existed on the previous boards lol. I did want a punter for camp though so I guess a guy already in the NFL will do this year.
