Tough choices to make here and I haven't seen a ton of tape on Dane Cruikshank. But he's been visiting with teams left and right and the physical profile is there at 6'1, 206, he's played both safety and corner, and the testing numbers were very impressive at the Combine, specifically the 4.41 40, the 25 reps and the 38.5 vertical along with a solid three-cone. He also apparently looked terrific in drills put through by Teryl Austin. I feel like he has a strong chance of being drafted.

Bonus points for his name sounding like a villain in a superhero movie.

i imagine he will be drafted just based of his special teams potential let alone his potential on defence - a special teams coordinator is gonna be very happy to have this guy in the building with at least a year to mould him without having to vie with a defensive coordinator for his time

Agreed there. I just realized though that I accidentally passed up my main target for him lol

@Truth Making me do work looking at depth charts and coming to my own conclusions :p

Like what the Jets, Titans, and Lions did. I don't see a team overall that is the overwhelming favorite in this if these teams had an NFL season. Lots of good teams out there, Steelers getting Graham is scary. Flacco getting Evans helps. Saints should be a threat of course. Think the Jags have the best defense, especially when Barry Church is factored in. I think the Lions are able to compete with just about anyone as well, just a lot of really solid moves made by them, especially adding Brate. Luck to the Vikings is nice. Seahawks O-line looks a lot better although losing Bennett and Avril hurts them both here and in real life. Still think they improved though just by helping that O-line. The Jets have set themselves up for the future fairly well may not compete this year as the Jets had so many holes but made a solid step in the right direction. Like what the Titans did with their O-line making a good group better and getting Suh on the defense to put next to Casey is nice.[/QUOTE]

I just want to say, I have singlehandedly rebuilt the Dolphins in one year. Rid the team of almost every big contract. Loaded up on picks, filled every need (mostly with young players)

This team would definitely not be ready to compete at a high level, considering half the team are rookies...but in terms of setting our teams up for future success...I think I’ve done my job. And for that, I’m crowning myself winner.

Good luck paying all of those rookies when their contracts are up in 4 years ;)

Oh I will. I’d pay some of them and some would walk, I’d pull a BB and trade a couple of them before their contract is up, I’d get a couple comp picks for some. It’s okay to be jealous ;)

Plus not all picks pan out obviously. The more you have the more likely you are to get several good players. I’d have no problem paying those several players.

What if they all bust?

PS, you know you can pick 2 UDFAs this go around, right?
