Marlon Humphrey Arrested

Problem with this is it doesn’t tell you he was getting help on most of his assignments. Pees rarely blitzed which hung out his cornerbacks. In his scheme the defensive backs were well protected. Explains Carr having one of the best seasons of his career at 31 when Dallas left him for cap fodder. You want a glimpse into his future?? Week 17 coaches began experimenting Humph man up. With 31 yr old journeyman Brandon Lafell. And Lafell totally cooked Humph. 2 big first down catches. Then a third was dropped or ruled incomplete. Then a big penalty at the end of the game where Lafell was blowing by him and coulda scored if Dalton threw a strike. But Humph didn’t hold him, he outright tackled him to prevent a potential touchdown. If Lafell was the experiment test for Humph to handle tougher assignments. Then Lafell totally cooked Humph!! The tackle was a humiliating desperation penalty cuz he was totally overmatched. By Lafell. Go on YouTube and look up week 17 highlights bengals ravens.
News flash. No one gives a fuck

2 catches for 35 yards and a questionable DPI call = getting cooked?

I saw the Lafell assignment, though I have a higher opinion of LaFell than you perhaps. But Humpf didn't distinguish himself and is not a corner. He doesn't have the grey matter skill set for it.

This incident with the cell phone charger spells big big dummy, but already knew that.

Humpfs unraveling is gonna be painful for most here, but I think theres a silver lining. It should be the last straw to ease old oz out the door.

Rather...no one wants to confront a coming problem.

Just read the report.

It was cited as a misdemeanor, due to the low value of the item in question. However, any force to take possession of an item raises the stakes to "ROBBERY". And in charging the offense was elevated in court. The fact the charger didn't fit Humpfs phone tends to indicate it was not his and dismisses any drunken claim it was.

If witnesses indicate he balled up a fist and shoved the driver, he's in legal trouble.

3 am. Drunk. girls...robbery

Yeah, that's my kind of character. Nice pick Ozze.

didn't like Humpf before the draff........hated his pick.....cant stand his "wunderlick"..
Humphrey's Wonderlic score was 20. The average NFL cornerback score is 18. How can an above average score be a problem?

Incidentally, QBs only average 24 so no position scores very well - surprising for such an easy test.

i dnt think a wonderlic test matters at all in this situation

But my argument is if the guy was a scrub or not. Yes, Humph didn't play that well in week 17. I knew that and I don't need to go back and watch that debacle of a game to reconfirm this. Was AJ Green cooking him as well? I saw Humph go step by step with Green on both "catches" that were correctly called incomplete.

And another thing, how is one game a glimpse of his future? We've seen a bigger sample size of the good things he has done compared to the negatives. How do you know if he won't improve or not? Bottom line is, he's a bright spot for this defense despite his off the field issues.

Wait, wait, wait, if Humph isn't a corner, then what is he?

Honestly, I think he's trade bait or a cut.

Now, he's not near sharp enough to play corner, nor anywhere close to Free Safety. IF he gains some weight and is willing to stick his head in there maybe SToNg SaFTey, mostly cuz we got a bunch of guys there now that are expendable.

You are aware the Capital letters to lowercase thing is meant as mockery right?

...

Right?

Its a charger lol
For real I don’t see why everyone’s making this such a big deal it was an accident wrong place wrong time he’s in his early 20s dude was probably having fun and the Uber knew who he was and cashed in it really should be nothing but since he’s an nfl player people are making it something it’ll all go away soon lol I don’t think this means he has bad character or is a bad person he’s the same age as me and I can promise you if I was making the money he is I’d be having a little fun to he was atleast safe about it and called an Uber shit happens sometimes and people are shitty he should be more careful but it’s not like this will really turn into anything
