Capitals

Well, the penHL fixed the Caps boat real good suspending Wilson 3 games. I expected 1 because of the guy’s injury, but 3 games is ridiculous and unwarranted. Just when they get momentum and seem over the hump this shit happens. I hope the Caps come out tomorrow night and play smash mouth hockey, win or lose.

That is such bull. I don’t even think the hit deserved a 1 game suspension.

I think they pretty much had to give him a game considering the other two they looked at the past couple of weeks. 3rd strike........ But 3 games is just effing criminal. I sure hope they bury the pinz deep and quick.
 
So it worked out pretty much the way the penHL wanted it to. First line sucked without Wilson and I’m not sure they can adjust in time to make a difference. Team as a whole played pretty great though and the pinz got the puck luck.

At least the Oshie v Letang fight was worth the price of admission.

I actually hope he won't be. I love Vrana but playing in Pitt means they get to decide the lines post stop. That fucker Sully will be sure to send Crosby out on a defensive line containing Ovi Kuzy and Vrana, one of the best offensive lines you could make but also the worst on defense. I support him in offensive zones but yea... being honest I would put Tj online one and vrana on 2. Playing with strom's defense would be an incredible balance and could do wonders. Regardless we really need Backy or we are going to get trashed. Not feeling great tbh but let's hope.

Vrana is the best option until Willy returns. Nick will play tonight. There is no way to feel good until this series is over.

I agree, Holtby had some big saves to keep us in that game on Saturday. My Pittsburgh wife said, “I am not worried at all, because I know there will be a game seven.” I understand her cockiness because of the history of the Caps and Pens in the playoffs. Until we beat the Pens and win a cup, I will always be uneasy during the playoffs. It does not help us that Tampa Bay has already clinched their series against Boston. Will we get Wilson back if there is a game 7?

They’re playing pretty close to the vest missing Backstrom and Wilson. I think that’s the way they need to continue and pick up a sloppy goal or one on a PP. Too bad Oshie’s post shot wasn’t an inch to the left.
