See You Guys Sunday - Next Up: Green Bay

Fair enough, but he has had very good coverage the time he has been in.
Yea thats true for sure. I love secondary players so im bit harsh on them. I just wanna see hump play more. I feel like his flaws havent been exposed yet simply cause he doesnt get much playing time

Yes it has, but we should continue playing him the same way he was. This is good rest for jimmy. Especially since jimmy still rests in practice cause of his Achilles tendinitis

im fine with him spelling jimmy but id like him to do more than that too just to get a strong member of our secondary on the field more

i dunno - teams have gone after him deep on double moves and he's not allowed any huge catches - a couple of niggly ones to martavis bryant and the two push offs by crabtree are the only big receptions on him i can remember all year - and teams have definitely thrown at him deep and tested him

And corner is a tough position to adjust to in the nfl. He’s playimg like a veteran with tremendous instincts.

I definitely think he will be a playmaker throughout his career, but let’s get the first one. Hopefully soon.

i think the 1st one might open the proverbial floodgates tbh he's so quick to learn and adjust - he obviously spends a lot of time in the film room studying in the right way

I dont think his ball skills are good and when his back is turned he lacks the awarness to anticipate throws

i dunno - if he lacked anticipation with his back turned he would have had DPI called on him a lot more - he needs to get his head around sooner to track the ball in the air to try and force a turnover but otherwise he's been much better than i thought he would be - i saw that weakness in college too but there has been no evidence of that in the nfl so far

and he's only really had 1 chance where he got his hands on the ball so his ball skills may need work but its too early to say but its why i want him to get his head round so he can get more chances at picks - as i said above i think once he gets his first pick the floodgates may open

and ball skills as a defender definitely seem to be coachable given how much better our entire defence is at turning the ball over in the air than 2 years ago after a concerted coaching effort

Did we ever verify if we have *never* won with him as referee ?
No, but whenever GB comes up I think about the 2009(?) game at Lambeau where we got shafted by Ed at every turn, then discovered he’s from Wisconsin.

Yea thats true about the DPI and yea he has to get his head around but i feel like its just more than getting your head around. It has a lot to do with his awarness. I actually like kind of like him now. We are playing smart by easing him in that way when its finally time he will be ready with all flaws corrected

yeah, those ball drills that they did in the 2016 offseason have continued this year.

Man, this team frustrates me more than it ever has when I look at how weak the AFC is. We should be able to lock up the 6th seed no problem, as some have said, it's practically right there for us to take but we keep trying to give it a way. A Rodgers less Packers team, and a Watson less Texans team the next two weeks. We SHOULD be at 6-5 heading into Week 13 against the Lions but with this team, I'm not sure of anything.

I just hope we come out of Green Bay with the W.
I agree about not being sure of anything. This team could go out and beat GB, HOU, DET ... but lost to PIT and then turn around and lose to IND or CIN and drop out of a playoff spot. The way we've played at times it isn't hard to imagine losing just about any game left on our schedule.

Hearing that Sherman was dealing with tendinitis in his Achilles all season and then it finally blew, worries me about Jimmy. He's been playing well, but given his history, a part of me can't help but dread that possibility.

Not happy hearing that Stanley is doubtful with a concussion. Thought we'd come in all healthy after the bye week, but I guess not totally.

Hurst shifts to LT ... who takes RG, Elumenour? I don't like it.

Even with Stanley out there are still no excuses. We’re playing Brett Hundley, not Aaron Rodgers and I think they’re missing some more players on that offense.

From br.com: http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news...-Packers/fcc20b7f-b4c1-4752-9cfe-ccb644c244dc

If Stanley is out, then James Hurst would likely move from left guard to left tackle. Luke Bowanko or Jermaine Eluemunor could then slide into the starting guard spot

Talk about chill factor.

I just hope Hurst looks at this as an opportunity to make himself some money in FA. A good performance here could set him up for a solid payday.
