Hall of Famer
Exactly. Every bloody catch is hard work, often on a hospital pass. There is no “even if”
NONE of these guys get any chance to do anything after a catch.

Moore was coming in since like the second quarter and Perriman wasn't benched for him. I was 7 rows from our sideline I made a point to observe things like that. Perriman played plenty of snaps. I don't know why you guys are complaining, he got a bigger work load and didn't play bad. Had a couple nice receptions, and he constantly got open. He had one bad drop and the other got knocked out after he didn't high point it. He said after the game he should have. You guys can hate on Breshad but I'll take him over Mike Wallace right now. There was an article in the Baltimore Sun today about Perriman’s wasted season and it appears
our coaching staff, after reading it themselves , made a point to target Perriman constantly.
it was a huge mistake and eventually he was benched and they brought in Moore.
I’m not thrilled by this method of coaching by newspaper article .

Yeah I really wish they would give us better angles on tv. Its so nice actually being able to watch all aspects of the game instead of only being able to see the quarterback until he throws it.It's crazy how much different the angles are from the stands. Gives a much better perspective of routes, coverage and protection.
I agree with you on Perriman, everyone is hating on him but i'm pretty proud of him today. Easily his best game this year, and I'm pretty sure he made 3 first down catches (CRITICAL) yes he should have caught that deep ball, but that would have been a huge play, not an easy one. He was in triple coverage and probably knew he was going to get his head taken off.Yeah I really wish they would give us better angles on tv. I wasn’t impressed . Even Torrey in his rookie season impressed me several times .I agree with you on Perriman, everyone is hating on him but i'm pretty proud of him today. Actually what happened is Perriman never knew Logan Ryan was coming. Why? Because Ryan wasn't on him, he was on Maclin. Except Maclin and Breshad's routes were way too close from each other (bad play design again) and that allowed Ryan to jump on the ball while Breshad had beaten his guy and adjusted very well (if you look at the replay it was in the bucket). Throw was great, Breshad adjusted very well and beat his guy, but play design fucked it up. Then again, Breshad has his share of responsibilities for not fighting more for his ball, sure, but it's a case of putting him in a bad situation. It made me feel good that he got some catched afterwards.I agree with you on Perriman, everyone is hating on him but i'm pretty proud of him today. The quarterback sits alone and disinterested while his line resides quietly on the bench, conveying defeat with eleven minutes still to play.
This is leadership?
In my opinion, no need to attack it more aggressively. He has his man walled off for little to no chance at any play on the ball from his own defender. That ball should just drop right in the bucket and be an easy touchdown possibly, but definitely a long catch.I think Ryan made a great play but I just wish sometimes Perriman could make a better play on the ball. My reaction to the play was after my first watch so I probably mis-judged it. I do think that Ryan made a great play but it seems like we just seem to throw a majority of these INTs in Perriman's direction, I could be wrong but his lack of aggressiveness when the ball is in the air is very legit criticism and something that could be recited in his college days whether it was him mis-timing his jump or not having good ball awareness.
No one is arguing that he is playing well. His production is atrocious. But some of us prefer to cheer for him and see signs that we may see more of him as the season goes on.I understand the desire to want Breshad to succeed, I feel the same way. But in what was his best game of the year he had 3 catches from 7 targets for 28 yards. That ain’t gonna get it. By contrast Maclin had 8 from 9.
Perriman did look more confident in his play and route running yesterday, but plain and simple the dude just has board hands.
Next training camp, we'll begin to read how Tim has turned the corner and that things are night and day for him comparing his rookie year to the feeling of coming into year two. That is something I can't understand.
lol....you're preaching to the choir. I'm generally the optimist and have been cheering for Breshad and supporting him since he hit the door. I want him to succeed as much as anyone. But how long can they wait? Given that the drop issues have not been fixed by now(college, then NFL) I'm afraid they aren't going to be fixed. Do they just continue to run him out there to watch him drop passes? No one is arguing that he is playing well. His production is atrocious. But some of us prefer to cheer for him and see signs that we may see more of him as the season goes on.
The issue is, yeah, the TEAM lost, but some units are more responsible than others.
I believe it was 2008 when the Chargers had the first ranked defense and offense, but finished 8-8 and failed to make the playoffs because their special teams were so abysmal. Would we look at it and go, "Yeah, it's a team wide problem and we really need to work on the entire team." No, we'd look at the special teams.
If the Ravens lost 100-99 and scored a TD on every single drive, would we say it was a team lost and the offense had a hand in it? No, we'd look entirely at the defense.
For me, it really sucks with these type of games because the offense does nothing for three and a half quarters and the defense gives them life with a turnover and the offense wakes up a little and makes it close before the defense slips up one time and we get upset at the defense for blowing the offense's chance.
Why are we even in this position? The Eagles allowed two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but no one actually cares because they were winning 44-9 prior to the first touchdown. Must be nice when your team can allow a touchdown and it be no big deal, but that requires an offense to help put the team in that position.
Always easier to see things from the stands. Yes, he does get open frequently and doesn’t get many chances. I hope Flacco continues to give him a chance, because we need to get him involved more. Whether it is to see if he has it or if he should be a Raven in 2018.Moore was coming in since like the second quarter and Perriman wasn't benched for him. We had to prepare for Miami, they had two weeks to prepare for us and they clearly looked ready to play against us. First drives are always the spark plug of an offense, last season we had no problems with starting fast, we just had issues with sustaining it and ultimately it killed us. They planned very well for that drive and they had peak performance in terms of health. Not an excuse but they were certainly at an advantage in that sense. We should beat GB with no excuses.Short of a bye week, we couldn't have been in a better situation, coming of a dominant win, too.
I don't think he should jump in the air and try to bring it down, just wish he had stronger hands, in that situation. I honestly think it was very unlucky but it seems to me that a lot of these INT's are in the direction of Perriman. In my opinion, no need to attack it more aggressively. He has his man walled off for little to no chance at any play on the ball from his own defender. That ball should just drop right in the bucket and be an easy touchdown possibly, but definitely a long catch.
And much like the Maclin turned interception in week 3 against the Jaguars, that's just horrible luck. I can't fault anyone for that being an interception when it was just a really unfortunate bounce. Had Ryan not put his helmet in there, that ball falls incomplete, but it hits the helmet and now all of a sudden it's 10 feet in the air.
If Perriman is as fast or faster than Torrey Smith , why is he not getting the separation that Torrey did on many routes ?
There always seems to be a corner knocking the ball out of his hands .
