Mock Central

BTW I love the Cain pick, he would change our offense in a big way. He's got that ability to come up with a big play in any type of form and when you look his way he answers your call.

Landry, I don't know. I have to see more of him, but he doesn't look like a great run defender, so we know what is gonna become of him with this training staff, no matter how great a pass rusher he is.
Im not totally sold on cain. I dont see him run many routes at Clemson

Well I see him run more routes than most of the prospects at the WR position, and even if the quantity isn't there, the quality certainly is. He's quick footed, has a great burst, is a model of knowing how to leverage a route against a corner and can win against any type of coverage.

The more I see us linked to Ridley the morr I forget about Anthony Miller. Miller would be perfect in Bmore with Miller lite being sponser partners lol.

I think the only way we’ll be able to grab Anthony miller is if we trade back to the bottom of the first round. He’s going bottom 1st or early 2nd. And I don’t see Ozzie and co. Trading up in the 2nd for him.

Miller and Ridley. Honestly though, I'm never one to let school bias become a narrative for me, but Clemson #1s have been on fire, it's hard to disregard that, they're a wr factory and that's the one thing that keeps him #3 in my book

I'll sound like Miller's number one hater, which I'm definitely not, but screw it, I'll say it: I think his route running is waaay overrated. It's a classic case of confusing quickness with route running. Is he explosive and does he have elite COD skills? Absolutely. But make no mistake, the separation he's getting is mainly due to the offensive scheme. There's some Corey Coleman to his game, and much like Coleman he's getting schemed open a lot, which is logical when you consider his ability in the open field.

Ridley, I can't deny that he's a great route runner and probably the best in the class. But in his own right, Cain can hold his own against Ridley. TBH, there are things I'm still waiting to be shown by Ridley, I feel like all his catches look alike. I just feel like something's missing for me to put him in the "elite" category and for him to be my WR1. Rest of the season will be huge for my evaluation, as nothing is set in stone.

To me he put himself in that "elite" category his freshman year especially vs UF and michigan st. Those were championship games and he made the big time plays

Ridley is a bit of a freak. If he played for a team less heavy on run game, I think he'd be the most talked about prospect by far. His ball tracking at full speed, while turning around and changing direction/adjusting is out of this world. Flacco could use a catcher like that, it would make him accurate looking QB.
And I really like that he's a quiet guy off the field. Receivers like that are so great.

Will watch those games then
His enitre freshman year was remarkable honestly. He made clutch plays vs Tennessee and Auburn as well. He had one beautiful route for a long touchdown vs Arkansas. But id recommend watching his games vs Auburn, Tennessee, UF, and Michigan st.

This. He doesn't get much hype as a spectacular catch guy, but that's because he isn't making trapeze style catches, he still has incredible focus to catch any seemingly routine pass, an underrated trait is a receivers ability to catch a underthrown crossing pattern in stride and Ridley shows the traits to do it 99% of the time. He constantly swivels both shoulders to turn and make a last second gut catch that most receivers lose track of, he does it so easily that it's almost unnoticeable, like when another receiver drops those passes you label it a bad throw, but when Ridley does it you label it a routine catch

yeah im with you - i want a lineman (preferably nelson or mglinchey) or i want a wr and unless i guy like mincah fitzpatrick falls to us then i dont really want any other position tbh
I could be down with Fitzpatrick if he fell to us. No question, but that ain’t happening

all im doing lol is trying to diversify my first round desires - i really just want nelson, mcglinchey or ridley in the 1st at this point
OL in 1st in our situation would be a wasted pick. Our incomplete line is playing well as it is. We need speed and playmakers for our (hopefully) new OC.

Thank god Jalen hurts is the QB right now and its a run heavy offense. It hurts Calvin's draft stock to where hes a realistic pick for us. In a pass happy offense, I think Calvin is top 10. I see mocks where hes in the 20s and some with him even out of the first round. I think ravens win enough games to be in the teens, so lets hope Hurts don't get benched or something and Tua comes in.
