The Good, the Bad, and the Dolphins: Week 8 Edition

The bad: Allen is getting touches when it should be going to Alex, CLEARLY.

The Ugly: Joe getting knocked out

I like Jensens attitude, we need to bring him back with two more beasts next to him

Jensen is inconsistent. However he will begin having all good games as he adjusts at center. His consistency will catch up to his skills and agression. He Yanda and Nelson next year would really establish a physical and dominant tone.

Eluemunor has the physical skills to eventually take over for Yanda if the football player can catch up with the size and athleticism. Remember he is very raw!! Never played football until he was like 16. Then only played 1 year at TexasA&M. Scouts thought he would pay off after 2 years of NFL of practice and being coached up. Maybe One year if he is a fast Learner.

Then it's up to Stanley to be the dominant left tackle he was drafted to be. And complete the dominant OLine. A ball control OLine that can propel the offense to drive methodically. and sustain drives for touchdowns that controls the clock.
I would prefer ravens be an offensive based football team. A potent high scoring offense. But one that blends run and throw to keep opponents guessing. With the finesse and precision of the high scoring offenses. But a physically dominant and aggressive OLine
to keep opponents scared of getting mauled. And not thinking of Making tackles and doing their jobs

Our defense was not flagged today. They are making lot less penalties this year in general but this game they played clean, good ball.

3 flags on Stanley, all pre snap and one on ST (Correa I think).

What an absolute cheap shot. Such a shame, you could tell Joe was gonna put up a solid game start to finish.

Man I'm livid, that was just a blatant cheap shot . Glad Jansen and Harbaugh got in that thugs face

Great D performance against a really bad offense. Should be a confidence builder though. Good to see BWill be the force again.

All around good offensive performance against a legit defense. Impressive the way we ran the ball against a top 5 group. Fantastic to see Maclin play well, hope he stays healthy moving forward. Alex Collins proving that he’s no fluke. Buck ran well too and I’m salivating thinking about getting Woodhead back after the bye.

Excuse the French, but I can’t fucking believe the way Cowher, Sanders, etc. just blew off the vicious blow to the head on Joe. If that were any number of other QBs they would have been yelling for a DQ, fines, etc.. Fact is it was an illegal hit anywhere on the field to any player, and a pussyfied, common ass hit on a defenless player giving himself up. Extremely curious as to how the league deals with it.

Nice to wake up not pissed off about a loss, but damn am I pissed we lost our QB when he could have got in some much needed work with a squad that was clicking for once. Kinda like one step forward, two steps back. Wonder how long he will miss practices?

When I saw this....

I actually screamed...."Great throw Joe! He caught it! He caught it! He caught it!"

I wanted to see what else those two could of did, it was going to be a good night.

What a cheap shot.

I hate this team for dropping a 40burger and getting our hopes up again lol

The great: Ryan fucking Jensen! Dammit I love having this guy on our team! Sadly he's making a hell of a name for himself around the league, it's gonna be a bidding war to keep him signed

Also, see what happens when you feed your hot hand? Alex Collins has been by far our best offensive player. We feed him and he crushes a top 5 defense, multiple big runs created out of his effort and talent, nearly every run gained positive yardage and many for chunks of 4-5. And changing it up and scrapping he Alex Collins playbook in favor of more flats passes and buck Allen is a big mistake and needs to stop, Allen ran alright but not close to what Collins did, and the bullshit martyball will kill every drive we have. Stick with the hot hand, feed the beast, and when you do pass it make it a fucking play action and don't wait for 3rd and 9 to do it.

This game is exactly why fans get frustrated. The potential that the team has, at the very least on the defensive end. I know this was against the Dolphins, but they can win games. And all our offense has to do is sustain drives and pound the ball. And Flacco is capable of sustaining drives.

The Ravens are like a box of chocolates...

I'd be very surprised if Kiko is not suspended AT LEAST one game. Watching that hit in slow motion is a game changer.

I don’t see Kiko getting suspended or even fined at this point. If this was Brady he would have been ejected and suspended for three games.

At least Flacco has 10 days to recover and this is his first confirmed concussion i think and Devonte Adams came back pretty quickly after a similar vicious hit.

Also Kiko is so lucky Yanda was not on the field he would have picked him up and broken him in half.

the good:

they got run stuffed.
pass rush we blitzed the blizzard out of em. so many blitzes. was shocked and overjoyed.
flaccos long ball to maclin, that's what i'm talkin about
Collins tremendous find. the hawks are deep in backs but what a windfall. proof again if we get a running game we can be a good team.
our oline. where did those guys come from, what a tremendous and overnite jelling of guys.
cj mosely and jimmy smith

the liability
Humpf. I know most all here are gonna say he was effective and in on the plays. saw it differently. he kept plays in front of him with frequent and consistent hand contact over 5 yds down the field. the refs let it go last nite as they did almost all contact, note flacco and kiko, but Humpf has a way of staying close that is not gonna endure. what was that large corners name the seahawks had that went to the pats. when the flags started rolling they never stopped. the blitzes helped him also. was not amused.

the bad
flaccos decision to go all out on that run with a 13 point lead. he tried to give himself up far to late and he paid. even there he lacked situation awareness. i'm hoping mallet gets the next start because have said all along he can lead this team. you had to love the way he got in Suh's face. he can do and want to see it.

I completley disagree on humphrey. I just watched the tape and all his snaps in particular. He was great! his only time where he gave up anything was to stills and he was draped all over him and with a bit of better hand placement, he'd have knocked the ball out of his hands and he'd have caused the incompletion.

He's going to be a very good corner. Think prince amukamara if he was never injured. He is nothing like brandon browner who was a slow footed guy.

sorry but you are wrong. was stunned the flags didn't fly on he coverages but those refs let it go even with as chippy as that game was. there were only 40 yards penalties per team.

predicted this win and the win over the raiders. but that guy is gonna hurt us when the refs disallow his grabbing. what a low caliber first rounder.

Brandon browner is the guy, thank you. He's not as good as browner but twice as grabby.

LMAO..
You know me, I aint a deluded one. You're just a hater. humphrey is really good. He's physical and he's good at it. I've watched and graded every single one of his snaps and he did a great job.

B.Browner was never as good potentialy as humphrey. He only had 1 good season in his career and that was in 2011..his rookie year as a 27 year old :/

that's the beauty of talent evaluation you can be so horribly wrong and I so accurately right and yet only time will crown the premier evaluator. now, that's a problem we have also, because a premier evaluator needs to know before the bell tolls. like the time for the work bell.
