Yeah I agree. I’m just shocked he didn’t at least pull in double that. He’s still a quality deep threat. He had a sub par year but that’s not all on him. Oh well. Hope he shows out in Philly

Definitely seemed like his market was quiet. As you said, he didn't have a great 2017 but not totally on him.
Regardless, I do wish him the best. He was quite underrated in his time here. I think the signing of Crabtree at age 30 and Brown on a 1 year deal sealed Wallace's fate in that he would have been another short term option. At least the guys they're looking at now have the potential to be longer term options.

Perhaps Wallace decided to play for a lower salary for a better chance of winning a Super Bowl ring.
there's no way they are sticking at 2 and not taking a qb - they are either taking rosen at 2 or they are trading out for a massive draft haul or they are idiots...

Yeah, because he’ll immediately be the #1just like he was here in Baltimore, you know since the Eagles don’t have other quality receivers to garner a defense’s attention.
If the Eagles get much out of Wallace this year, it really is a sign our problem is NOT receivers.

Nothing from Zrebiec (as in he said there was nothing he'd heard - about 45 mins ago - rather than him not saying anything) but then again he also said this earlier today on twitter:
"Part of day but I promise you I will not be obsessing over whether a restricted FA is or isn’t still in building. This isn’t Michael Crabtree we’re talking about."
and that seems to me to be fairly naive and uninformed... especially given the way he talked about the draft class with another fan - he asked whether they would be upset if we signed a free agent and then didnt take a wr until round 4/5 as if those 2 things really have any relation to each other...

In his defense, there's not much to report on an RFA. There's no need to keep them in the building with how the RFA and offer sheet process goes. Plus, if the Hurns interest is legit, they're going to let him make a decision first. If you throw out an offer to Snead or Meredith today, the offer is stuck on your cap until NO or CHI decides to match or not, which could be up to 5 days.
I guess it was the more dismissive nature of his talking about it that irked me - if there’s nothing to report then there’s nothing to report but it seems like he just went into today assuming there was nothing doing - as the beat guy you’d expect him to at least try and know a little bit about what’s going on in the building

Reading through his replies, I think it's just the general pain of being a beat guy and getting the same question over and over again, especially at the WR position. I can't even begin to imagine what his mentions look like. He's repeatedly referenced that people want every single WR available, but then when that happens and they don't draft a guy, the FO gets reamed for that. He should definitely be more professional about it, but he does have a valid point. His mentions don't win either way.
Also probably important to mention that his interactions on there are with people that are generally more casual fans or ones that don't understand how roster building works.

Very true. You won't believe the number of people on Twitter vouching to sign Tyrann Mathieu for whatever reason. It seems like they want to hop on whatever new FA hits the market, let alone any WR that's available.
I truly believe the Packers will play the Ravens in the Superbowl next year.
Yeah I get that - I guess i was just caught off guard by how worn down he seems about these 3 guys despite the fact that they are objectively conceivable fits for the ravens
For what it's worth, he's been on the "sign 2, draft 2" thing at the position since the season ended. He's a build through the draft type of guy, and he's not wrong. I just think at this point, showing their willingness to sign 3 guys, shows that they just aren't fans of this draft class and I'm finding it hard to disagree with that.

This is a pretty crappy draft class to be needing a WR, too. Not a ton of talent there that really pops off the screen and they all seem to have their issues. I like Ridley but his frame is so small it worries me he'll be a walking injury coming here and he's an old rookie. I also like Moore but even he has his issues and makes you wonder if he can duplicate it at this level.

I completely disagree. I don't see many that can become a WR1, but there's a ton of guys in this class capable of being a high end WR2.
I'm with you. There are guys I like at WR in this class but I'm not sure if any of them are special. I think a lot of them kind of mesh together.
