Ebron's probably looking for more money than he's worth and I don't think Ravens would be the team to pay him the most. We could definitely use him though. The worry I have is that he always seemed a little full of himself, that's why I did not like him in a draft.

Well then idk why he would ve visiting the pats. They want you to take less than your worth to play with them

that might be why we arent at the head of the tour - the only way we land ebron at the price we'd want is for him to see his value from other teams so that he doesnt come to the castle expecting a better deal than he'd get here

You’re definitely right about him being full of himself, but I’ve seen some reports that he’s really matured in the last couple of years. Not sure how much he’s matured, but definitely not the knucklehead of the past.

i imagine being a top 10 pick who gets cut before the end of their rookie contract (even if it was his option year) is probably a bit humbling for someone who's full of themselves

I actually think that the visit process is showing a bit of level headedness from him. Seems he’s taking his time and evaluating the options instead of just signing at the first place that offers him a contract.

But the visits also could be going terribly lol. Never really know.

it could be the case that the reason he isnt signing is because teams arent giving him the money he was expecting

Hope that's true but only if he signs with us. If he's a new Colt, I wish them TO+Dez in the shape of Ebron.

Not a bad deal for it being backloaded once again. The cap hit in years 2 and 3 aren't bad enough to make you have to move on if you don't want to (assuming he plays well this year), but easy enough to get out of if you have to.
yep, I agree. This is a really well structured contract.

He seems like a pretty polarizing guy around the league. Some like him and others hate him, as far as on the field goes. I’d guess the fact that the Lions couldn’t find a trade for him indicates he probably shouldn’t be asking for that much, but maybe that early years personality is rearing its head again.

The only interest I’ve seen from Baltimore is Jimmy’s. I don’t think the Ravens are interested in Ebron. Dude only caught 60% of the passes thrown to him last year. No thanks, we’ve had enough guys with board hands.

You do realize 60% isn’t bad right?

It’s been reported that we’re interested and trying hard to get him. Check Zrebiec’s timeline and he says it over and over again, with pretty consistent updates.

10 4. Hope we fail on this one. Just don’t have a warm and fuzzy.

other than zrebiec consistently saying there's interest in vague terms the most recent confirmed interest in ebron was back around the 2014 draft...
