2018 Free Agency

Per Brian McFarland on twitter:

"WR Jeremy Maclin has a $1M bonus due on Friday, 3/16 (3rd day of league year), so that is likely the drop dead date for a decision on his release."

we have a deadline with maclin where we essentially will know what we're doing with him in 3 days time if we dont already...

please let us not get this wrong...

I get this bad feeling we'll keep him and just tank 2018 so Eric can start fresh with a top 5 pick.

Tackle > Gaurd (In terms of draft value)
Couldn’t care less about “draft value”.

It’s getting increasingly more difficult to have a good Oline in the NFL. I don’t care where players “usually go”. Time to change that and actually have a strong Oline.

I’ve been saying all along...I don’t think we will be so quick to cut Maclin. Everyone made it out to be a forgone conclusion on here but I don’t think so.

I really hope he is cut though.

Id be shocked if he isn’t cut. I think Maclin wants out of Baltimore just as much as we want him out. It was clear he didn’t really give a shit last year.

When you are up against it and insist on keeping a player that is replaceable because he's a Harbaugh guy ( teams/depth, not quality depth mind you, not a youthful depth with upside, just depth) then you are holding onto a guy for the wrong reasons.

Could be moot in the end. We'll see.

His max is what he had in his second season in the NFL? Fuck off

There’s been WRs over 1000 yards first 2 yrs thrn never heard from again. His routes suck he doesn’t separate. I know he is the player your team is interested in homerboy. So that makes him the best young receiver possible in free agency.

BOOOOOOO. Dolphins are keeping RTJa'Waun James as they told the Broncos that he wasn't available for trade.

If we were willing to tank, I don't think we'd have picked up the option on Carr. In a tank scenario, we'd probably just be willing to roll the dice with Young, Canady and Hill.

Though, that doesn't mean we don't keep Maclin, but I'd be stunned. He was a total dud and I don't see why we'd want him around.

I agree with you but who are you referring to??

I know Harball likes to keep Cucks that kiss his ass for a roster spot. Mediocre and players with diminishing skills that know there is no market for them and hang onto the ravens by sucking up to Harball. Harball likes Cucks that agrees with everything he says.

Considering how bad Carr is and how much better Humphrey was and Harbs refused to start Marlon over Carr, keeping Carr is like tanking.

Lol. I’ve been saying I’d be happy with Moncrief before there was even any news that the Ravens were interested. Good try though.

But sure keep clamoring for Marquise Lee who can’t even catch a football. Who’s only good for short routes. Who only has like 8 career touchdowns. Lee is one of the last guys I’d want on our team.

Danny Woodhead released.

Lol......guess this happened a couple of hours ago. Just on a break at work.

Wtf!!!!! Is everyone getting overpaid now????

Our Forum Mock had a much bigger influence than we all thought. Players apparently saw it on the old forum and how much we were willing to over pay, then the NFL happened to follow along and started to over pay with big contracts. Though Joe started the QB inflation on contracts, not us lol.

Dez at $16M tho???? I mean he led the NFL on drops last year. Id want him here just not at $16M
While he had his moments, irrefutable video evidence shows it was about 75% or more on dak. He didn't target him when he was wide open and his ball placement was about as bad as it gets.
