Update on Landry from a Dolphins reporter:

Most interesting note is that Landry wants $14M while an offer came in around $10M per year. Curious what that does to the situation. Would Landry be content on the tag or would he rather take less than he thinks he's worth on a long-term deal? If it's the latter, it could increase the chances of him staying in Miami long-term as they've been reported to have offered him more than that already.
But, on the other hand, is that relationship broken? Landry and the Dolphins are pretty much having a dick measuring contest right now, and one of them is going to have to make a decision within the next week. Landry looks bad right now by threatening to sign the tender "imminently" which of course hasn't happened yet. Seems the Dolphins called his bluff.
they called his bluff but it doesnt really gain them anything - they still have to rescind the tag before the 12th march or they wont have any cap space in free agency and as soon as he signs it they have to either get rid of him via trade or pay him 16 mill - so i dont really see what calling his bluff gets them - as the reporter says it's a dick measuring contest - but landry can afford to lose it because it hurts the dolphins more than it hurts him to not be on the market yet...
