so the ravens offensive plan moving forwards is to run screens and throw deep balls... nothing intermediate

we're paying over 7 mill a year for a slot receiver who only started to break out last year but hasnt exactly exploded onto the scene
and then we're paying john brown between 5 and 6.5 mill for 1 year but there's no guarantee he plays in more than a couple of games a year

the ravens at receiver have become the browns at qb

oh he's a good player but this is a lot of money to give a guy who's incredibly unproven - he has a good route tree and good quickness and decent hands but he's just not shown a lot - maybe we've bought low on an ascending prospect and it works out but this is a fairly big risk

the john brown contract made some sense - i was disappointed at not getting moncrief or gabriel but it made sense
this one has come so far out of left field that i feel a bit funny - im gonna have to go and watch a load of film on grant
