Fire Marty

I just wonder when we stop calling out the coordinator, receivers, tight ends, offensive line, and running backs and begin to consistently call out Joe.
Which is why I for one keep saying it is a TEAM effort. Win as a team, lose as a team.

Sometimes one portion of that team is more or less at fault than others, but it is, always has been and always will be a team effort.
It is my contention in TODAY'S game, Joe was not the weakest player. No, he was not the best he has ever been and no he was not without more than a few faults today. To blame any one player on any loss is pure ignorance.

Lemme make my case. I wouldn't mind Flacco throwing it 41 times per game (like he did today) if it didn't equate to all of 4.3 YPA. When Marty is calling plays that doesn't push the ball down the field, Joe is being held back. We can talk about Joe's supporting cast all day, but until Marty opens things up, we won't do much on offense. When will we ever use the middle of the field like we did last year? Where are those slants to Mike Wallace? Where are those shallow drags? Why can't we counter those short throws with intermediate/deep throws? Why is the defense dictating what we do, not the other way around?

The offense, outside of the running game, was just not on it today. Receivers didn't make enough plays, Joe was too conservative and had some sloppy passes, and the offensive line really got blown up. This might have been the ugliest offensive loss we've seen all season, including the debacle in Jacksonville.

Well I’m certainly ready to call out joe.
I’m beginning to get the feeling that Joe is completely done and has nothing left in the tank . He looks very slow
in the pocket and is not moving well .

I think we are seeing the end of the tunnel for him . Sadly . I thought 4- 5 years left before this year but now I’d say a couple max .

But do we know for certain they aren't being called? I don't have the All-22, so I can't really say that they are or aren't, but just from what I can see with initial snap movements and the way the receivers are positioning for their routes, I can't really say that the Ravens are calling the offense in such a way to have an offense that nets 5 yards per attempt.

He’s going to need something miraculous to turn him around. I’d be for picking a qb round one this year, but I’d also like to see Quenton Nelson or a wr

I mean I don't have an all-22 either. I think it would be a great idea for one of us to get an all-22 so we can breakdown these games as a board. Then we can gain a general consensus of what the issues are.

I just really hate that it doesn't matter which offensive coordinator it is or who the receivers are; the same issues persist. Something has to give and at the moment, the only constant is really Flacco.

Unless we go on a roll, which I highly doubt , I do believe Harbaugh and staff are fired and we pick a Qb
high in the draft .
I agree with the moderator that a turnaround for Joe seems highly unlikely .

I was very happy when Kubiak came here and upset when he left . We need to find someone of his caliber .

Agreed . It was a nice run for Harbaugh but his time is up . One ring , should have had two .
I wonder if they would have had two if they won the Super Bowl following the 2011 season. Would they have had the dreaded hangover? Would Lewis have retired a year sooner? I'm curious.

It's always fun thinking about those what ifs. I kind of think things would've been different if the Ravens won in 2011.
