Fire Marty

I don't think we'll fire him, I don't want to have a knee jerk reaction but I don't think he returns, but it's difficult to find an OC who will co-exist with Greg Roman who has done a great job.

At the same time, your QB needs to make plays, you pay Joe top dollar to win you games and he couldn't do that for us today. I understand that his receivers underwhelmed but at the same time he didn't show up regardless, he needs to become a play-maker for this offense.

Marty does need to go, but it's not gonna solve even most of the problem.
Exactly, even if we fire him this offense is still going to be terrible. I mean they were at their 40 in OT and a FG to win the game and they couldn't do it, that's honestly pathetic, the Bears were really trying to hand us this game.

To those claiming our offense won't be better or will still lag without Mornewhig...I disagree.

Dude runs the ball all day everyday, 2nd/3rd and long, even despite the fact that we don't have a primetime, elite 3 down thumper like we should.

And than he tries to justify running it 30 times by throwing it 30 times on horribly drawn up plays when we are down big that result in no production. So that he can say 'yea Joe threw it 50 times, we just couldn't get it done'....NO. You should have opened it up to start the game and not ran such a conservative 75/25 run-pass ratio

There is a lot to fix on this offense and not sure if firing Marty will do anything, but I’m for it. He sucks.

Not at all Marty's faul flacco can't hit a reciever on 3&2 who was wide open. Or hit any pass within 5 yards. Regardless Marty does suck though and I'd much rather see us lose with roman

No

its not any O-cordinator fault

flacco is just a shitty QB with poor qb awareness and bad weapons.

i mean marty has called 3 good offensive games i can remember in his time here and that is it - in 2016 vs miami and @ pittsburgh and then this year @ raiders...

there are personnel issues here but the playcalling, offensive planning and general play designs have been awful - and while execution is mostly on the players it also suggests a coaching/practicing issue or a misuse of players

Now is not the time in my opinion.
and I agree Marty is one of many issues. I have seen salad colanders that have been less porous than our O-line.
Our receivers either have bricks or sticks of butter for hands and have separation anxiety whenever they get too far from a defender.
Joe is Joe..... Simply amazing and completely horrible and everything inbetween.

No O.C. on earth can make something great out of this. Not a one.
Lets see who comes up for grabs black Monday.

the problem is flacco is, and this is not debatable anymore, a below average QB in the NFl with below average weapons.
He hasn’t even been below average. He’s been one of the worst starters, if not THE worst.

OC`s has come and gone along with receivers , rbs and oliners yet the offense has always been terrible.

At some point it might be time to start looking at the constant factors that have been around.....

Yeah but if A & B have consistently been crappy the one consistent will always be, well inconsistant.

think of Camp's TD.
That was friggin sweet.

It has been a while since I yelled at the TV.
I was yelling " Go Camp Go Camp Run Camp run !!!!! "

Thank God we didnt cut him. :)
I was yelling too lol. But at that point I had already accepted defeat so in hindsight, it would’ve saved me emotional distress if he would’nt have scored and we just lost in regulation.
