I'd love to do that with McGlinchey.I'd love to get Connor Williams in the first. We could have him start at RT to have one of the best pairs of tackles in the league. Then maybe a third or fourth rounder in at guard, or move Howard inside.

I feel FO will feel more comfortable than fans - Skura, Hurst, Siragusa as backups are there as well. I don't think they'll want to draft OL high and I'm fine with that.Is anyone else suddenly feeling comfortable with Lewis at LG assuming Jensen stays? I mean, Stanley is still playing like a stonewall aside from the Vikings game, if we retain Jensen then we may have one of the best young centers in the league entering his prime, and if we retain Howard then we have a monster of a right side. Lewis is at least serviceable and we all know that, so maybe as long as we don't have a liability at either guard spot with yanda being the right side, then Jensen and Stanley can make enough difference to elevate the play of Lewis.
TBH I never understood why Lewis gets so much hate on this forum. For a rookie transitionning to a new position he was very solid. Sure he lacked strength in the run game but he can work on that, his pass protection is very reliable and he's an excellent puller. He's definitely starter quality, and you don't need 5 Pro Bowlers to have an elite OL.Is anyone else suddenly feeling comfortable with Lewis at LG assuming Jensen stays? im not his biggest fan but i dont hate him, not by a long shot. i think he is a guy who you can always rely on as a starter who will do a respectable job, but will often leave you wanting more "oomph" from that position. like you just want bigger and stronger because you know it can make a difference.TBH I never understood why Lewis gets so much hate on this forum. Exactly, he is a starting level guard, no question, but he isn't an elite guard, and it's nice to have multiple elite blockers, it makes EVERYTHING work betterI like Lewis as a backup. But if we're going to be a power running team, the we need someone that gets more movement at the line.
Not a fan of him as a lg, but feel he can improve from his rookie year, even though he will always have leverage issues due to his height. That being said, coming off his injury, we need to be prepared. He’s a very good pass blocker and has very slow feet, but still feel he would be better suited for right tackle than left guard. Is anyone else suddenly feeling comfortable with Lewis at LG assuming Jensen stays? They've been known to go high (Brandon Scherff and Chance Warmack being examples off the top of my head of OGs going in the top 10), but Zack Martin went at 16 and David DeCastro at 24 so personally I wouldn't be stunned if we finished in the middle of the order (again) but still had a shot at him.I never thought a Olinemen highlight video on YouTube could be so entertaining! How high do top guards usually go? I'm afraid we won't make playoffs but we're going to win just enough games to fall out of the top 10 sadly.
Picking some serious steam right now. Haven't really dug deep but all reports on him are really good.Anyone like Will Hernandez? he reminds me a hell of a lot of Richie Incognito, he's not as scheme diverse as Nelson but man he has some serious power.
Top 15 pick though? One guy that could be a good first round pick for us on the o-line besides Nelson is Chukwuma Okorafor. He's got all the traits to be a franchise tackle. He's incredibly quick which lets him mirror nearly any edge rusher, plus he has long, strong arms to make them go that much further to get around him. Considering that the Ravens play against some top edge rushers in our division, we could certainly use a guy like him on the right side. He's a pretty good run blocker too.
Yeah, I wouldn't have an issue with him in the top 15. It obviously depends on who else is on the board, but I wouldn't have problem with him at like 13 or 14. Even if the Ravens don't grab him, it wouldn't shock me to see someone take him that high, especially if they need a LT.Top 15 pick though?
I agree with all of your points. Nelson is an amazing piece and I would take him over most if we sit around 15. I highly doubt he makes it there, the best guard in a weak class should go top 10. I wouldn't take any other o line player beside him in the first or second (barring major drop of elite talent) I love both Hurst and Lewis, the first being one of my favorite players and he has been playing great this year in his new position. I think we surely new a WR and would love Calvin or Kirk. Our line is pretty good IMO and it isn't worth it to screw the rest of the team over talent wise.Exactly, he is a starting level guard, no question, but he isn't an elite guard, and it's nice to have multiple elite blockers, it makes EVERYTHING work better
