The OL Thread

i have no issues drafting nelson either. my concern is with yanda. he is in his 30's and has missed games in each of the past 3 years with injuries. nelson would fit right in. howard is serviceable but he got killed by speed this past sunday by minnesota. need to find his replacement as well.

isnt that the point of nelson - to eventually replace yanda? he'd be the guard the other side and hopefully would become the next yanda...

i know he would eventually replace yanda. i guess i should have said it in another way but my concern is can yanda still play a full season at a high level moving forward? i believe we need to draft/sign a couple of guys to cover their asses. we are not even sure how good siragusa even is.

Alright, I know you like him so I'm tagging you @RavensMania . Saturday I got my first watch of Q. Nelson. I had seen clips of his highlights before but didn't love him. I'm sticking with my thoughts (only slightly now) that we need a bigger playmaker than a guard in round 1, but I would not be mad if we took him. Holy shit this guy is insane. Watching him every snap is legit a highlight tape. I don't think I have seen him keep a single lineman on his feet or within 5 yards of the l.o.s on a run play. He makes every player look like a highschool Jv backup. My god, him Jensen and Yanda would be straight up nasty.
I’m not sure I’m sold on this wr class yet, but I haven’t seen enough tape either. if we take a number 1 wr, I wouldn’t be too upset.

theres a reason Nelson is being hyped as a guard who likely goes top 10.
absolutely no question. I’d love to see him on the same OL as Yanda for two or three years and next to Stanley. woooweee
I’m not saying Nelson can replace Yanda, because no one will replace Yanda, but he will certainly make it a little easier when Yanda in fact retire.

When yanda dies? Shit man...

And to think about Nelson Jensen and yanda as the trio, fuck that would be op. That's so much muscle and mean streak and bully mentality across the board

That’s what happens when you write so much life insurance as part of a financial plan.
