Yes and probally a mid rd pick to boot. I'm hoping they trade with us tho but too many teams in front of us need a QB.![]()
Yeah if they are trading up then at the bare minimum they need to be in front of the Cardinals.

I actually believe in this rumor too, but of course it's an eternity between now and the draft. Would they give up BOTH first rounders for this trade?
Well considering they don't view Tyrod as a franchise QB, I could see them doing anything they can to get their hands on a franchise QB.A tweet from Feb 17th said that they were talking to the Giants about making a blockbuster trade to move all the way to 2 for Rosen. Guess when March 14th comes we'll see, unless they work out a deal before the new league year begins.
Poor Tyrod, I truly wish some team is going to give him a real offense and let him perform.Well considering they don't view Tyrod as a franchise QB, I could see them doing anything they can to get their hands on a franchise QB.

Yeah I could see that. It's a shame because he's done more than enough for a team to want to build around him.the way tyrod plays and is treated by the bills reminds me a lot of alex smith and the 49ers - a game manager who can affect the game with his legs with upside but with a risk-averse attitude to qb play and a team that doesnt appreciate the importance of what he does for your team as a player - he's also only 28 years old

Lol damn rightor at least be ok working with him as opposed to looking to get rid of him every offseason like the bills have since rex ryan left (never would have thought that rex ryan would be the clearest thinking HC about qbs in any situation ever...)
If they don't get Kirk, I could see the Broncos going after him.Poor Tyrod, I truly wish some team is going to give him a real offense and let him perform.

Oh I do too. No way in hell do they pass up on this opportunity. While I don't think Tyrod alone could take a team to the promised land, I definitely believe that if he went to the right team, I'm sure he could do a little something something to get there.if the broncos get tyrod i fully expect them to still take a qb high - the leaguewide cognoscenti dont see tyrod as a qb who will take you to the promised land and elway knows he has to fix his qb situation

After all, I'm sure folks around the league were saying the same thing about Flacco before he had his magical postseason run.
Ehh it depends on who you ask. I definitely heard from fans that Flacco during that time was considered a game-manager and I'm sure there were higher-ups that may have felt the same way.i think the difference is that the ravens had never missed the playoffs with flacco when the superbowl came around and while he had up and down spells you could hardly levy "game-manager" as a criticism of him the 2-3 years before the superbowl - different style and type of quarterbacking
whereas i think stylistically tyrod isnt a qb you can hope for those heights from so you have to build a team a different way if you hope to make it - and you also dont have the expectation of getting to the playoffs every year with tyrod at qb...
i think tyrod is gonna be cursed for the rest of his career with being not trusted to take a team to the superbowl but being an above replacement level starter i.e. he's never gonna stick somewhere for long (a little like josh mccown maybe but for different reasons)
According to Tony Pauline, the Browns are not "enamored" with any of the QB prospects in this years draft.
*Cough* *Cough* There's so much smoke in this thread.
if they want to trade their pick, should be saying the opposite, so yeah, they are stupid. If that’s true then they really are idiots - personally I think Rosen is a great prospect but there’s a little bit of everything in the top 5 (or so) qb options:
Josh Rosen is a pro-ready pocket passer with good vision
Sam Darnold has great talent and the ability to succeed in difficult situations who will take risks
Josh Allen has ridiculous measurables and has the potential tools to rip teams apart
Baker Mayfield has nice vision and timing and reading of a defence with the ability to scramble to pass beautifully
Lamar Jackson has the speed and athleticism to rival skill positions
To not think there’s a poison there worth picking seems ridiculous
So either the browns are stupid (still)
Or this is the most seethrough smoke screen ever (but they have the 1 pick so I don’t know what use it does them unless they really want Barkley - but you shouldn’t risk it - just go get your guy and be happy)
@rossihunter2 Scott McCloughan, who is the consultant to the Browns, is a huge fan of Mayfield.
Funny thing about the Browns FO is that McCloughan is twice the scout Dorsey is.@rossihunter2 Scott McCloughan, who is the consultant to the Browns, is a huge fan of Mayfield.
